Entry tags:kiriko, maeko, nayuki

Who: Kiriko and Maeko (and later Nayuki)
What: Talking and Persona finding
Where: School
When: Lunchtime? After school? Before school?
Why: Because I haven't threaded with these two and Nayuki needs to awaken!

Kiriko sat on a bench on the schoolgrounds, her red folder open on her lap. Maeko had agreed to meet with her here, though Kiriko had neglected to say about what. Truthfully, she wasn't entirely sure how the other girl would respond to her idea. However, she did have some idea of how Gendou would, and honestly, he seemed like he'd be more difficult to cajole anyway. He'd done what he could to get her back on student council, and while the board was considering it, there was no way to void the three month probationary period.

So, she needed an inside agent.

Spotting maeko, she shut the folder and slipped it back into her backpack.
"Akuba-san, hello."

The what?

"Special Outreach Program?" That made Nayuki face Kiriko with a puzzled expression. "Sempai, I'm afraid I'm not aware of that at all." This was bad, he thought to himself. Already months into his transition and he had apparently missed out on something. He felt the need to correct it. "What exactly does the Program entail? Is the Anti-Bullying Club well-supported that the Administration is actually allowing Outreach?" It might have been a stupid question, but he was determined to see it through as he kept his walking pace with Kiriko's.

Maeko nodded, made sure her cellphone was in her pocket just in case, and turned the door handle the wrong way, openning the door into paradise.

Kiriko pulled her phone from her bag and flipped it open with one hand, shoving Nayuki back through the door with the other.

"We're about to show you."

Kyaa! ... I mean, WOAH!

Nayuki wasn't exactly sure what to think of first. Should he be wondering why he was pushed through the door? Or should he be worried more about how he was going to catch himself from yet another boy-meets-floor moment? Quickly choosing the latter, he quickly braced the carried documents against his stomach as he pitched further forward and dipped his chin to his chest. Succeeding in breaking his fall by rolling, he comes up with just a few wrinkles no his jacket. Dusting himself off with his free hand, he turned back towards Maeko and Kiriko only to find the two standing in the doorway.

Just as he was about to utter his voice of objection, his mobilephone starts ringing from his coatpocket. Raising an eyebrow, he takes the phone out and flips it open to check the display. "That's funny... I was sure I set it on silent-mode this morning." The texts told him that the number was not local, in fact, it wasn't even shown at all.

He started running through the list of people who knew his number from the top of his head. And it was a rather short list, and ALL of which would immediately flash an identifying display. He shrugs and presses a button on his keypad to pick up. "Hello? Who is this?" No sooner did he asked the question than the caller hung up on him. "Strange." He turned his attention back to Kiriko and Maeko, "Hey, what was the idea of pushing me through the door like th---" His phone beeped and vibrated before he could finish. He flipped it back open and checked on the new mail. "This could be from the caller."

What greeted him was something short of bizarre. There was no indication of a sender, and the contents of the mail was short... and it was in English. Thankfully, he paid enough attention to the lectures to successfully decipher the message. Altough, he had to read the message aloud for his brain to process and translate it.

I AM THOU
THOU ART I
THE TIME HAS COME
OPEN THINE EYES
CALL FORTH WHAT IS WITHIN!

He looks back to Kiriko and Maeko and notices them holding their mobile phones. He chuckles and shakes his head. "Alright. That was really interesting. So how did you both get my number and what exactly is this message all about? Is it some sort of initiation into the club?"

"The number." Maeko said, not bothering to apologise for her part in shoving Nayuki into a world full of things that were out for his blood. "The number that sent you the message. Call it back."

"The number?" Nayuki raised an eyebrow and then looked back to his mobile phone's display. What used to be an empty senders information was now replaced by a sequence of numbers that is not sufficient to make any call. He was feeling rather dubious about it, but something inside him compelled him to use the numbers and make the call. Holding up the phone to his hears, he was half-expecting for someone to actually pick up.

What he got instead was a piercing headache from nowhere. It was strong enough that he was forced to drop to the floor, lose his phone, and scream while squeeze his head between his hands. "Wh - what's happening!? It hurts! Make it stop!"

The unattended phone sparks and cackles as it seemingly came to life on its own. The display was now blackened as it began projecting a larger-than-life panel hovering in mid-air. It slowly transformed to reveal an Arcana Card representing The Moon. Nayuki's headache disappeared soon after, and he was able to go on his hands and knees. "W - wait... what is this? I don't even..."

Before anything else could take place, Nayuki found himself staring at a pair of really large leather shoes. They would've passed for something ordinary, had they not been looking too much screen-toned in monotone shades. Looking up, he meets the gaze of the shoes' owner... and he appeared to be just as monochromed as the rest of his body. Nayuki's mouth just hung open at this point. The man reached down to offer his hand in a gesture of assistance. Nayuki could see his mouth moving and although he couldn't hear his voice, he could clearly understand what the man was saying. "A - ah..." If he ever projected any manliness before, it's gone now. The ear-piercing scream he just let out pretty much obliterated it. He scampers away from the monochromed figure, but it just followed him by walking casually. The words he read out from the text message began to repeat in his head, with a matching disembodied voice.

The monochromed man reaches down to Nayuki, grabs him by the jaw and brings him to stand up. The terrified look was clearly evident, coupled with hyperventilation, looks like the transfer student isn't taking this very well. The monochromed man releases Nayuki from his hold and the two just stare at each other for quite a while.
