Who: Kiriko and Maeko (and later Nayuki)
What: Talking and Persona finding
Where: School
When: Lunchtime? After school? Before school?
Why: Because I haven't threaded with these two and Nayuki needs to awaken!

Kiriko sat on a bench on the schoolgrounds, her red folder open on her lap. Maeko had agreed to meet with her here, though Kiriko had neglected to say about what. Truthfully, she wasn't entirely sure how the other girl would respond to her idea. However, she did have some idea of how Gendou would, and honestly, he seemed like he'd be more difficult to cajole anyway. He'd done what he could to get her back on student council, and while the board was considering it, there was no way to void the three month probationary period.

So, she needed an inside agent.

Spotting maeko, she shut the folder and slipped it back into her backpack.
"Akuba-san, hello."

If there was no other bright side to this situation, Maeko was apparently never going to need a thumb tack ever again. She wasn't quite sure who was doing this, though Misa's whiney brother was the top suspect. That or a member of her fanclub. Had Misaki been the type to get other people to do this kind of stuff all along? Maybe she'd done it herself. At this point, none of this would surprise her.

Tacks emptied out of her outdoor shoes for the third day running, she headed out to the outdoor lunch tables to meet Kiriko. She wasn't entirely sure what this was about, something to do with paradise was the first thing that came to mind.

"Ikeda-san. I got your message." She said. As if the fact that she'd got the message asking her to meet Kiriko here wasn't made obvious by the fact that she was indeed meeting Kiriko here.

Kiriko nodded, apparently not appreciating the obviousness of that statement. She waited for her upperclassman to take a seat and then broke right into business, skipping past the pleasantries.

She wasn't sure "how are you" was even an appropriate post-Paradise question, anyway.

"I wanted to talk to you about Student Council," she began. "I was planning a student event, but, well, you know the rules, I have to have approval from Student Council, especially since what I have in mind will probably run into the culture festival.

"Actually, it's been in the works since before I got kicked off the council" -- only half a lie, really, thinking about it had to count -- "so I don't know of any reason why it wouldn't be okay. But, I was hoping you could help me get approval? If you don't have the authority to approve me yourself, you'd still be able to present it for consideration at a meeting, right?"

Maeko sat quietly as Kiriko explained. "A culture festival event?" She guessed, tilting her head. "They didn't start putting forward ideas for those until september last year. But sure, I can't approve something like that but I can put something forward."

"Yes, well." She shrugged. "It will take a lot of planning, so I wanted to get all of the approvals out of the way early so that I'm not wasting my time."

She dug around in her bag and produced a green folder a moment later. This one, she handed to Maeko.

"You can read what I have in mind in there. I think it will be fun - and not to mention, a good distraction. Maybe it's just for us, but I think the whole school has been gloomier than usual this year."

The folder she handed Maeko was really just the bare minimum - what the event was, the spaces she'd need, and when she'd need them. Once that was approved, she could worry about tie-ins later, and if everything went to plan she'd be able to pitch those ideas to the council herself.

Maeko skim-read the first sheet in the folder, looked a bit surprised, read a little more corefully to confirm that she was correct and then nodded.

She closed the folder, resolving to read it properly at some other time.

"It's okay for me to take this, right? I'll read it fully tonight and bring it up at the next meeting. It's...well it's something new but I don't think it's objectionable at all. And the school could use something like this to focus on instead of...yeah. Retsu-senpai's pretty..." She searched for a nice word in case Kiriko got along with the president better than she did. "...difficult at times recently but that's the only difficulty I think there'd be and I'm sure he can be convinced."

Here we go...

Running his bike over the Student Council President outside of campus probably wasn't one of the best ways to introduce oneself, but it did lead to Nayuki getting acquainted with the rest of the Council Members and getting a probationary role with them. In light of the accident, he volunteered himself into lightening some of the menial load the Council had. To make amends for the injury he incurred on Gendou is what tipped the balance to his favour. And now, he was crossing the courtyard with a batch of print-outs in hand, headed for the Non-Athletic Clubs that occupy the east wing.

Seeing Maeko up ahead, Nayuki thought of calling out to her, but quickly changed his mind when Kiriko came into view. He didn't want to interrupt their discussion, and there were plenty of other opportunities to talk to his classmate. A Gust of Wind strikes at him, blowing some of the print outs from his clutches. "Ah, crap..." Without wasting further time, he goes after the wind-blown documents, which appear to be heading towards the two aforementioned ladies. It was inevitable now, "A - Akuba-san! The papers!!!"

"Paper? What?" Maeko asked as she turned around and found herself being attacked by a reminder that school rules required shirts to be tucked in at all times even in the summer weather.

She pulled the paper away from her face, crisis narrowly averted, noticed the rest of the printouts and began chasing them.

Kiriko apparently did not think it terribly pressing to try to help and was content to watch the paper swirl past her. She watched one important looking document go by and then traced it back to it's source.

There was a sharp piercing sensation at the bag of her head, though mysteriously devoid of pain. The sound of glass breaking reverberated in her mind.

"Thou art I..."

Everything in her field of vision slowed to a halt, a ghostly apparition appearing behind the boy's head. Persona, Kiriko thought, and no sooner had she thought it than it was gone, and the papers were once again swirling through the wind.

This time, she stood up to catch them.

"Wow, That really quick reflexes you two have!"

No sooner had Nayuki warned the two ladies to the fugitive documents than they'd caught every single one of them. She bows to them both and helps them re-stack the papers. "I was just on my way to the Club Rooms when I saw you both here. I didn't really mean to interrupt, but the wind apparently thought otherwise." Meeting Kiriko's gaze, a hint of recognition shines in his own eyes. "Ah! You're the pretty sempai in sequins back in Ito-sensei's first gym class!" He playfully scratches the back of his head with one hand while he secures the paper stack against his chest with the other. "I almost didn't recognize you without all that glamour. But, please don't get me wrong, I believe you look prettier now compared to that time." He bows again, but this time, in a rather formal fashion. "I'm Tonbo Nayuki of 2-B. I transferred here a couple of months ago." He glances over to Akuba-san and flashes a smile to her, "I've recently been deputized as an Aide to President Retsu."

This was the new P-user? Great. Just great. This was exactly what she needed.

Kiriko gave a curt bow and looked to Maeko. Had she seen it too? There was no way to be sure. Her eyes darted from Nayuki to Maeko and she eventually decided on the latter.

"Actually, I think we could use his help, don't you?"

She looked to Nayuki with a simper.

"We were just going over some student council business. Would you mind stepping back inside with us for a moment?"

Failing that, they'd just follow him to the next available door.

Maeko hadn't looked at Nayuki directly until she handed him the papers she'd collected and held one hand to her head, missing everything that Nayuki said. She nodded when Kiriko brought up going inside, running on ahead. She took the handle of the door and looked to Kiriko for confirmation that this was what they were doing before openning it.

Nayuki looked over to the East Wing, then to the papers in his hand, then back to Maeko and Kiriko. He shrugs, "I suppose there's time for that. But I have to hand these over to the club rooms later." He quietly follows the both of them back to the main building, taking position a few feet from Kiriko's left flank. It didn't hurt to put all that corporate training to good use, he thought to himself. "By the way, Akuba-san... When will the Anti-Bullying Club resume activities? I've been meaning to join, but you told me that it wasn't a good time then."

Kiriko nodded swiftly in Maeko's direction, then answered on her behalf to distract Nayuki's attention.

"Actually, about the Anti-Bullying Club... You've heard of the Special Outreach Program, right?"

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

The what?

"Special Outreach Program?" That made Nayuki face Kiriko with a puzzled expression. "Sempai, I'm afraid I'm not aware of that at all." This was bad, he thought to himself. Already months into his transition and he had apparently missed out on something. He felt the need to correct it. "What exactly does the Program entail? Is the Anti-Bullying Club well-supported that the Administration is actually allowing Outreach?" It might have been a stupid question, but he was determined to see it through as he kept his walking pace with Kiriko's.

Kiriko pulled her phone from her bag and flipped it open with one hand, shoving Nayuki back through the door with the other.

"We're about to show you."

Kyaa! ... I mean, WOAH!

Nayuki wasn't exactly sure what to think of first. Should he be wondering why he was pushed through the door? Or should he be worried more about how he was going to catch himself from yet another boy-meets-floor moment? Quickly choosing the latter, he quickly braced the carried documents against his stomach as he pitched further forward and dipped his chin to his chest. Succeeding in breaking his fall by rolling, he comes up with just a few wrinkles no his jacket. Dusting himself off with his free hand, he turned back towards Maeko and Kiriko only to find the two standing in the doorway.

Just as he was about to utter his voice of objection, his mobilephone starts ringing from his coatpocket. Raising an eyebrow, he takes the phone out and flips it open to check the display. "That's funny... I was sure I set it on silent-mode this morning." The texts told him that the number was not local, in fact, it wasn't even shown at all.

He started running through the list of people who knew his number from the top of his head. And it was a rather short list, and ALL of which would immediately flash an identifying display. He shrugs and presses a button on his keypad to pick up. "Hello? Who is this?" No sooner did he asked the question than the caller hung up on him. "Strange." He turned his attention back to Kiriko and Maeko, "Hey, what was the idea of pushing me through the door like th---" His phone beeped and vibrated before he could finish. He flipped it back open and checked on the new mail. "This could be from the caller."

What greeted him was something short of bizarre. There was no indication of a sender, and the contents of the mail was short... and it was in English. Thankfully, he paid enough attention to the lectures to successfully decipher the message. Altough, he had to read the message aloud for his brain to process and translate it.

I AM THOU
THOU ART I
THE TIME HAS COME
OPEN THINE EYES
CALL FORTH WHAT IS WITHIN!

He looks back to Kiriko and Maeko and notices them holding their mobile phones. He chuckles and shakes his head. "Alright. That was really interesting. So how did you both get my number and what exactly is this message all about? Is it some sort of initiation into the club?"

"The number." Maeko said, not bothering to apologise for her part in shoving Nayuki into a world full of things that were out for his blood. "The number that sent you the message. Call it back."

"The number?" Nayuki raised an eyebrow and then looked back to his mobile phone's display. What used to be an empty senders information was now replaced by a sequence of numbers that is not sufficient to make any call. He was feeling rather dubious about it, but something inside him compelled him to use the numbers and make the call. Holding up the phone to his hears, he was half-expecting for someone to actually pick up.

What he got instead was a piercing headache from nowhere. It was strong enough that he was forced to drop to the floor, lose his phone, and scream while squeeze his head between his hands. "Wh - what's happening!? It hurts! Make it stop!"

The unattended phone sparks and cackles as it seemingly came to life on its own. The display was now blackened as it began projecting a larger-than-life panel hovering in mid-air. It slowly transformed to reveal an Arcana Card representing The Moon. Nayuki's headache disappeared soon after, and he was able to go on his hands and knees. "W - wait... what is this? I don't even..."

Before anything else could take place, Nayuki found himself staring at a pair of really large leather shoes. They would've passed for something ordinary, had they not been looking too much screen-toned in monotone shades. Looking up, he meets the gaze of the shoes' owner... and he appeared to be just as monochromed as the rest of his body. Nayuki's mouth just hung open at this point. The man reached down to offer his hand in a gesture of assistance. Nayuki could see his mouth moving and although he couldn't hear his voice, he could clearly understand what the man was saying. "A - ah..." If he ever projected any manliness before, it's gone now. The ear-piercing scream he just let out pretty much obliterated it. He scampers away from the monochromed figure, but it just followed him by walking casually. The words he read out from the text message began to repeat in his head, with a matching disembodied voice.

The monochromed man reaches down to Nayuki, grabs him by the jaw and brings him to stand up. The terrified look was clearly evident, coupled with hyperventilation, looks like the transfer student isn't taking this very well. The monochromed man releases Nayuki from his hold and the two just stare at each other for quite a while.
