Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Entry tags:parents

Who: Parents (No kids)
What: Parent's Evening!
Where: Nanakamado
When: Evening
Why: So the parents can RUIN LIVES SOME MORE/BE EMBARASSING/WHATEVER.
Note: I don't intend to play the teachers very much. I doubt this is a surprise.

The amount of students at Nanakamado meant that it was almost impossible to book slots with all the necisarry teachers within the same time block. As a result, parents were forced to wait for a long time between each appointment.

The school had clearly foreseen this problem, the assembly hall had been prepared with seats and refreshments to keep perents who they didn't want to enrage from becoming too frustrated with the wait.

Rie seemed a little shocked by that, but signed it on anyway while she tried to remember where she had heard that name before. Michio shook his head before he answered.

"I've heard nothing about that. She must be mistaken. Rumours about tghings like that are very common at these ages, after all."

"True, but she seemed very adament about it," He looked a bit concerned. "I also heard through Tomako that both Misaki and Maeko are in a new sub club of this Anti-bullying club. It seems like a good thing for them to be in."

He glanced around, "Ah have you met the new gym teacher by chance?"

"I'm sure I would have been informed if that was the case." Sign sign sign. Sign sign sign. "I was told about that. I am sure it will look good on a university application. I hope they've learned to become more consistant with their activities. They didn't seem to have any set calender before."

"I know, I never thought Misaki could seriously be on her own outside the house. She's been trying to keep away from how her mother has groomed her, I always thought that Maeko could be a good influence on her. Hopefully help her focus more." He smiled kindly then nodded.

"I suppose so, yes, Maeko seems like the sort of girl that would tell you if something were happening."

"I'm sure she will mature. She is still young, she will learn." Sign sign sign. "My daughter is responsible enough but she wants to do everything for herself, she doesn't allow me to support her anymore. It seems girls grow up at different speeds."

Mikaru nodded, "Yes, I know what you mean. It wasn't that long ago that I was holding Misaki when she was very small. Her mother always had trouble with that. Misaki would cry a lot for her and I don't think she could take the crying."

He paused and looked some what sheepish, "Eh...I'm sorry." Pause, "I always thought that Misaki was maturing because of Maeko's influence. She always seemed like a confident person. Misaki always speaks of her. I swear she would probably want her as a sister if possible."

"My daughter stopped crying quickly." Michio nodded as Rie said this. "So that was never much of a problem.

They didn't mention the obvious, that it wouldn't really have made much of a difference to him anyway.

"Strange, I was always told she was quiet. It doesn't matter a great deal, I am glad they are such good friends even if they are currently not getting along so well. Are your other children well? The two of you must have a lot of meetings to attend tonight."

Mikaru smiled gently, "I wish that Misaki had. She had a powerful set of lungs when she was little. How did you calm her down?"

"Misaki or Maeko? When I had the pleasure of seeing her, she was talking to Misaki about things, although Misaki always was the one rambling, then she'd go quiet and look embaressed." He blushed some, "Heh, must have got that from me. I used to ramble a lot when I was younger."
