Who: Kojima and Ginjiro
What: Just hanging out
Where: Round the shopping district and Arcade
When: After school week of the event
Why: Because Ginro is interested to see if his skills keep people from seeing Kojima as she really is.

Ginjiro was leaning against the wall of the arcade with his arms crossed and slouching some. His white uniform was open and he seemed tired and lethargic. He'd spent the night before working out the right powder mix to give to Kojima so she would have the "perfect" skin that she wanted.

Yawning and stretching he didn't care if people saw him out there. He just wanted to get moving. School sucked and if anything he was happier when he wasn't near it, or thinking about it. Waiting sucked too, it ment that he couldn't move or do anything. You know the whole thing sucked since he was stuck there waiting, and in his uniform of all things, two things he disliked most in the world, and both were in play right now.

But still, for Kojima, the one person he knew of that didn't view him as a weirdo for wanting to be what he wanted to be, he'd suffer through it. After all he owed her for all that she did for him when he was younger, even though she decided that she wanted to go to that other school. He worried sometimes if she was in any sort of trouble. The first person to pick on her was going to get his fist through their head.

"Where the hell is she,' he muttered to himself and grunted some as some girls walked by. It wasn't that he wouldn't have smiled at them, but he knew their type. Rich, spoiled and more then likely only wanting the tough guy image to date. Hopefully Kojima would be there soon and he wouldn't have to stand there looking like a freshman on his first date.

Norio laughed it off. "No matter how old I get, you're still just Gin-kun to me. And I won't call you it in front of your scary delinquent friends, if it makes you feel any better."

He reached up and grabbed the bottle when Ginjiro tapped his head with it. "Hey, thanks! You really know what you're doing, don't you." With that he smiled. "And thanks for asking about the school trip. It was alright... I don't think camping's my favorite thing to do, though. And..." He sighed. "Aomori-sensei was found dead on the third day. We weren't close, since I'm not in any gym classes..." He put a hand on his chest, signaling to his heart. "But he was still a nice teacher. And... ugh, I have to write the obituary for him, too."

"You want me to help? I mean I'm not that great with the whole writing thing but you know I can help." Ginjiro said and rubbed his neck. He gave a small smile to Norio and patted her shoulder.

"Hey you want to just hang out for now? I mean I really don't have much to do, and we could catch up."

"No, I'm writing it myself." Norio put his hands on his hips and smiled at Ginjiro. "For one, it's my duty to the school paper to write it. And for two, you didn't even know Aomori-sensei! It's nice of you to offer, but I'm doing this one myself."

The pat on the shoulder amused Norio greatly; it was a gesture meant for someone shorter, and as it was, there wasn't much of a height difference between the two. With a soft smile, he nodded. "Sure; I have some time to kill. Where d'you want to go, Gin-kun?"

"We can always go hang out at the old haunts if you want. Might be amusing, seeing as people think that I'm dating this rich girl from Nanako," Ginjiro said with a smirk. It was local talk in the public schools to refer to Nanakamado as Nanako, Ginjiro wasn't sure where it came from, he just figured that it was an easier way of saying the name.

"Well if you think so, I kinda feel sorry for your school dealing with all that crap. That's not to say we're not getting some idiots who want to try it at my school too."

He shrugged. "Sure; if I'm going to hang out with you, I might as well try and drum up some nostalgia. Oh... but, are you hungry? We could go get some ramen, if you'd like." With one hand over his mouth, Norio laughed a little. "Of course, that'll just make even more people think we're on a date." The traditional star-crossed lovers, almost: a rough-around-the-edges delinquent and the classy, piano-playing rich girl. Of course, they weren't in love, and Norio wasn't a girl (not that Gin-kun had to know), but the image was still amusing.

"I know... Sato Kei, the poor guy who died earlier this year... he was in my grade. As far as I can tell, there was no reason for him to die." He gave a half-concerned, half-horrified look to Ginjiro. "Want to try it? Dear god, sometimes I really worry about that place." Norio shook his head.

"Ramen, sure why the hell not. I haven't eaten any in a few days. And screw them, like I care what people think about me. Doesn't matter one way or another," Ginjiro had been through enough of the whole society notices your looks issue since he was little and honestly as he grew older he cared less and less about what other's thought. "Classy piano rich girl, pffff, how can anyone see you like that Kojima."

He raised his eyebrow, then snorted, "Yeah they think it's exciting that there's a murder mystery going on by your school and figure it would be fun to find out if it really works by us."

"Excellent! I've been wanting to go eat some, lately. This gives me a good excuse!" Norio began to lead Ginjiro in the direction of Ramen Alley. "Okay, so maybe less that and more 'annoying nosy girl who works for the school paper, and happens to be rich.' That more like it, Gin-kun? Or do you me the way you see me?" He elbowed his childhood friend in the ribs, laughing. "Y'know, some people really do think of me that way. You're just biased because you've known me forever."

He crossed his arms across his chest. "Gin-kun, promise me this: you won't let them do anything stupid, okay?"

Ginjiro rolled his eyes, "Oi, you know very well about the way I think about you Noriko. You don't have to go all girly girl on me. Next thing you know you'll be wanting me to paint your nails. Hair and make-up is as far as I go."

He let out a laugh, "Yeah. Well, you've known me forever too, so we're even on that."

The taller boy rubbed his neck and gave a groan, "Okay, I'll try to keep the numbnuts from doing that."

"Pfft, like I'd want to do that! If I spent all my time doing my nails, when would I write for the paper? You know I'm the only one who pulls their weight around there."

He stretched and smiled. "Yeah. If anyone tries anything, I'll let you beat him up."

The pair was approaching Ramen Alley at a steady pace. "Sooo... anywhere in particular you want to go? Or do we just pick a place at random?"

"Heh, well the plus about you is that you don't make it hard for me, and you don't go bragging about my little side job. All I need is th punks at Yasabori knowing about what I do and I'll be a laughing stock," Ginjiro pointed out. "Not that your school doesn't have a few idiots around. I've had a guy, gaijin, wandering around our school a few days ago. I think he was looking for stuff, though I don't know."

"Ohhhhh would you please," he said in a mocking voice, "I would be ever so grateful Kojima-channn. Thank you sooooo much for letting me be your blunt weapon."

At the last question Ginjiro shrugged then gave a wiley grin, "Lets go random. Order the first thing that the other spots and see who can handle it."

Norio gave a wry grin to Ginjiro. "I know better than to go telling anyone about this. At a school like Yasabori, I'd imagine that your masculine reputation is pretty much everything, right?" The second point intrigued him far more, though, and the smile gave way to that intent face which appeared when ever Norio was onto a good story. "A foreigner, looking around your school? What'd he look like? Because I know a few sempai at Nanakamado who might fit that description..."

"Blunt weapon?" he said, amused, "I think you're a little better than a club, at least. Maybe a crowbar."

"Ooh, a challenge. That could be fun, Gin-kun!" Norio laughed and clapped his palms together in excitement.

"Tall, brown hair, wearing your school's uniform. He was lurking around looking for some punks, I think he thought they went to Yasabori, but I've never seen the ones he was discribing. Besides that I don't know if he's really a student, he was driving a car when he left. So either he's doing it without a license, or he jacked it. One or the other," Ginjiro shrugged some but rolled his eyes on the second. "Yeah well, not to brag but I do have a good reputation there."

"Oh yippie I leveled up. Who'd have thought I would make it to crowbar, and here I thought I was going to just be a baseball bat or something," he joked and looked around. "There's gotta be some place to eat here. Just not something too bland."

Norio pondered for a moment. "He looked like that? I... I suppose it's probably Sagaki-sempai. Thomas Sagaki." He stumbled over the other student's name, not used to pronouncing foreign syllables appropriately. "He's trouble, as far as I know. Gets into fights, sneaks around doing weird things... ugh. I'd stay out of his way if I were you."

With a cursory glance over their surroundings, Norio chose a location at random. "How about there? Kumatora Ramen?" The shop in question had a large, garish sign with a bear and tiger unsurprisingly painted on it. "I think I've heard that their stuff is pretty good. Let's go, crowbar-kun~!"
