WHAT: Tom and Max check up on Yoshi
WHERE: Yoshi's room
WHEN: Between Yoshi dungeon and Isao dungeon
WHY: He may have made remarks about her pre-dungeon

Tom shifted slightly as he knocked on Yoshi's door. In the past he would have simply observed her habits and snuck in when she was out, he wouldn't be knocking, of course he also wouldn't simply drop by with the dog to see if a friend was okay.

The door clicked open after a few seconds, and Yoshimi peered out, blinking curiously.

"Sagaki-senpai? Do you, um... do you want to come inside?"

She hoped that it wasn't bad news. Tom seemed like the type to make the rounds if there were bad news, and she couldn't handle any more—

And that's when dog proximity kicked in.

"Oh, wow, you brought your puppy! This one is yours, right?"

"So fluffy! I can pet him, right?" She reached out without waiting for a response - Max had seemed friendly enough during the ski trip, and if Tom had spent the intervening month training him into a vicious guard dog, Yoshimi was confident that she could take him in a fight.

"That's real thoughtful of you, senpai," she murmured, trying not to dwell on the fact that she missed Jiro already.

	One could interpret Max's actions to be vicious attack, provide savage licking of hands counted as a vicious attack. The small dog did his best to squirm free of Tom's arms so he could get over to Yoshi, his tail wagging furiously. "How have you been? I... umm... I'm kind of bad at you know... not being rude, so... "Oh, that's... thank you, senpai." Yoshimi stared at the older boy for a moment, taken aback by how self-aware he sounded. Tom usually didn't apologize for breaking and entering, last she'd heard, much less for sounding brusque. "But I think most of our team could say that about themselves, don't you?"

Herself included, but it was hard to feel too guilty when she was on the receiving end of Max's fearsome lick attack.

"I've been getting by." Even with the distraction of a squirming puppy, she was able to answer the question more easily than she had with Kai. "It's... it's all a lot to take in," she said softly, thoughts full of dead boyfriends and ferris wheels and a voice that thought of anything less than buying Europe as a failure to really come alive, "but I am getting by."
