WHO: Kiriko, Kozue, Reizo
WHAT: Delinquent 101
WHEN: After the club festival discussion.
WHERE: Reizo's pad
WHY: reizo's life is horrible

Reizo’s apartment was a hard contrast to the boy.  Where he was a big rough roguish sort who stood out no matter where he went, his apartment was small and clean and organized and like something out of a homemaker’s magazine.  The tile floors in the small hallway leading away from the front door and laid out in the small kitchen were spotlessly clean, and the shag rug that blanketed the rest of the house was thick, lustrous, and always looked freshly vacuumed.

Despite its showroom floor qualities, it managed to seem lived in.  The whole place smelled faintly of stale cigarette smoke and oil, and the living room seemed to be the heart of it all.  It was small, but the furniture was spaced so as to make it seem larger than it was.  Pictures crowded one section of the wall, all hung in simple frames, and all of rough and tumble looking teenagers and men, scowling.  An entertainment system dominated the wall opposite of a big and worn leather couch.

The most arresting features in the room were the guns set brazenly out in the open in a display case in one corner, and the new shrine to Reizo’s father set up against the corner closest to the main hallway.

Reizo sat slumped in a chair, eyeing the clock and looking fairly grumpy.  Delinquent 101 wasn’t his idea of a fun time, and he was dreading the idea of them going through his closet, but either way he hoped they're hurry the fuck up and arrive.

Kozue wouldn't have been shocked by Kiriko changing under normal circumstances—they did live together, after all—but to see her change so casually in front of a boy? It wasn't exactly a surprise, but it certainly was confirmation of something. She nodded at the coat, and the change in hair. "That's loud. We're going for loud, right?"

She turned towards Reizo a moment; he was, unfortunately, wearing the opposite of loud. "We need you to be the centerpiece, though. Understated is okay, but..." She waved a hand vaguely. "This might be too understated." A pause. "I don't suppose we could get a motorcycle involved, could we?"

Everything was an accessory to Kondo Kozue.

As she spoke, she turned back to look at the pile of fashionless fashion articles they'd picked up, and began rifling through, casting things aside with barely a brief consideration. Too bright. Too polyester. Too clashing. Too animal print. "Well, as for me? I'm definitely not wearing one of those frumpy long skirts. Where did that..." More rifling through.

Reizo settled deeper into his chair, dark eyes roaming across the shirtless Kiriko in a familiar manner as he watched her change, chin propped up on one hand and head tilted a smidge. He stopped staring the moment the coat was on, let out a grunt that sounded mildly disappointed, and looked towards Kozue, eyebrow cocked but expression otherwise the same.

“How flattering,” he said, glossing over the motorcycle comment completely. Risking his baby around a bunch of overexcited wannabes was not in the cards.

The delinquent glimpsed down briefly at himself again, then back up at the short girl with the golden curls. It was only mildly insulting that she was implying he couldn’t be the centerpiece in a group composed of fakes, even in every day common wear.

“I could wear my banchou jacket, replace the shirt with a sarashi, or not at all..”

He glanced warily at the gaudy pile, then at his equally gaudy girlfriend, frowning. He was pretty bad, granted, but neon pink zebra stripes just weren’t his thing. There was a difference between looking tough and badass and like you could wear whatever you wanted to and looking like your fashion consultant was a colorblind candy kid.

“You two should pick out your themes and looks.”

And hopefully keep changing in front of him. Silver linings weren't so hard to come by, after all.

There was a mirror in the room and Kiriko was in front of it, moving back and forward to frame herself differently, turning this way and that, brushing her bangs over one eye and then the other. She glanced back over her shoulder at the mention of Reizo's banchou jacket with the shirt not-at-all replaced, then back to the mirror. The pink stripes were loud. She took off the jacket.

"Themes? Hm..."

The jacket was draped over the back of his couch as Kiriko rifled through the pile, trying to induce some comprehensible theme from the mismatched pieces. What kind of themes were there to choose from, even?

"So help us pick something, then leave so Kozue-chan can change."
