In which boys are discussed and Seiko learns a new word.
Who: Maeko, Seiko
What: Ice Cream!
Where: Kigakiga
When: Evenning
Why: Ice Cream!

Maeko approahed Seiko, still in her work t-shirt (though thankfully not in the large strawberry suit) and placed a bowl of peach sorbet in front of her.

"You like this kind, right? I forgot to ask what you wanted but I thought this type suited you."

She smiled, sitting opposite her friend with her own strawberry icecream.

"Not really, he's not in our class if I wouldn't know him. And I don't think you're in any clubs, are you?" She grinned. "Besides! Even if he said no I get he'd be really flattered that you liked him! I know I would be if I was a guy!"

"No I do extra study sessions rather than clubs." Seiko explained waving her spoon around a little carelessly.

"Yeah but, even if he was flattered, still mega awkward... Like, he'd know I like him, but..." she paused, Maeko would be pleased if she confessed to her? If Maeko was a guy? Seiko tried not to read too deeply into that one because it led her mind to strange and unwanted speculation.

"I don't even really know what I feel its just so...stupid."

"I guess so..." Maeko said, thinking.

If there was one thing she understood (this was questionable) it was things being stupid and she nodded. "It sounds it. Could you, um, write a letter? They did that in this manga Aoi-chan lent me ages ago."

Seiko quietly ate more sorbet for a moment, she was touched Maeko was trying to hard to help, but for someone in a relationship she seemed pretty hazy on how it all worked.

"A letter? But how could he know it wasn't a fake? Or that I wasn't lying or something?" Seiko did however smile, because that manga already sounded adorable, maybe she'd have to ask Aoi to borrow it...

"Yeah, there was a letter. And the girl signed it by sewing the spare button from her favourite dress to the paper. Then later she lost a button from her dress and the guy had been carrying her letter in his breast pocket the whole time and he gave the button back." Maeko seemed to have liked this story as she was grinning remembering it. "I guess it'd have to sound sincere. I don't know how you'd do that."

Seiko blinked and tilted her head, gloom momentarily forgotten in the face of cute romantic manga.

"So he got with her in the end?" She asked curiously but fully expecting an affirmative answer. "I don't really get much time to read romance actually..." She shrugged, she hadn't even really considered having her own 'romance' since she had been held back.

"Eh I guess best way to do everything is straight on and to the point." She said with a nod, "I mean like, if you try to be subtle they might not get it."
