Mokoto was sitting alone this time in the classroom and looked rather unhappy. The discussions with the teachers, Kei's parents, and Kouchisei's father had not exactly endeared her to the situation. Not only that but there were clues that she found that made her think that a student was behind both matters and that distressed her. How could anyone one do such a thing to their fellow student? It was repugnant not to say the least bit disturbing.

She let out a long sigh as she waited for Satou and Retsu to come in. Both would be interviewed and she wasn't to thrilled at the prospect of grilling either boy. Both were known for their charms.

They had better take this seriously. she thought as she heard the door slide open.

"Enter."

"And then what, Nawanaka-san?" Mokoto asked watching the girl. She knew this had to be hard. It was terrible for adults to deal with such actions, let alone kids. Mokoto smiled gently, "Take your time there's no rush, but try to remember details that you can okay? Every little bit helps us find out what really happened to your classmate."

"...I must have run somewhere, I think," thought Toshimi out loud. "Because I wasn't still there when they made the PA announcement instructing people where to go. I think someone might have followed me...I seem to remember speaking to somebody...but..." She knew that there were clearer memories in there somewhere, but she didn't want to dredge them out--there was nothing she could have seen in the minute or so she'd seen Sato Kei's dead body that wouldn't have been obvious to the police, anyway, so why expose herself to that kind of pain? "Of course it's not my place to determine, but I don't think I saw anything that will be helpful to you," she sighed. "I saw the body and I ran away...I just barely remember speaking to somebody...and then they called us to the auditorium."

She took another deep breath. In order to really remember the details she would have to step back and visualize that day, and she didn't want to be a part of it. She wanted to get away from it, just as she had wanted to that day when she'd run from the classroom-- she caught herself halfway through the process of turning her head towards the door, and faced straight again. "I apologize, officer," she began in a stiff, controlled tone of voice, "but I've really been trying to forget all about that day. It was a horrible experience."
