Kou's gaze hurried from one angel to another, then to his classmates, past the bird cage into t,he sky, and then to the beginning. His eyes were wide. Breathing frequently he felt a rising illness in his stomach. It turned swiftly into bone-numbing coldness as he realised, if these were angels as claimed, that God existed.
His thoughts turned to saving himself, because at the end of it he was a human being.
He hurried in front of the group and raised his arms.
"... What do you think you're doing?" A pause for breath. "As we are, we don't know anything."
