Investigation Team Meeting attempt number 3
Who: Persona Users!
What: Investigation meeting v. 3.0.
Where: Ant-Bullying Club room
When: Tuesday Afternoon.
Why: Cause we need to talk without getting interrupted!

Thomas made sure to get to the Anti-bullying room early. He wanted to make sure there were no interlopers, eavesdroppers, or problems this time around. He set his bag down on a nearby desk,  and checked the room for recording devices. Normally he wouldn't figure on them, but with Akuba the club president...

He would have preferred to hold the meeting in the room he gave them. The previous music room still had the sound baffling set up which would make eavesdropping almost impossible. But Oubai had suggested the meeting,  and the last time he'd been in room 22-C was when Tom locked him in there. Tom didn't think the other boy would appreciate being in there again at this point. And Tom figured they needed to do as much to keep this meeting on track as possible.

Once he was sure the room was safe, he grabbed his bag. Inside was all the information he had. He flexed his right hand, still freshly bandaged. Finally ready, he pulled up a chair near the front of the room, facing the door  and waited. for everyone else to arrive.

Renju had been quiet, absorbing the conversation. It was a lot to take in--she hadn't imagined that Aomori-sensei's and Sato-san's deaths could be connected with Paradise. All of a sudden, the whole thing seemed a lot more significant.

Not to mention that the whole body-snatchers thing with the Shadows was a really creepy thought.

Right when she'd opened her mouth to ask a question, the door slammed open, and the one person she'd been hoping not to see barged in with... a sack? She was more than a little afraid to ask what was in it. She shrunk back into the corner a bit, the memory of what had happened with Kanaye fresh in her mind.

Toru quietly nodded in accordance with Kouchisei's observation.

"The same thing happened with... him," he said, still uncomfortable about referring to his Shadow, "He said that we were one and the same, and he turned back into my Persona when you all defeated him. So maybe that's what Shadows do? I-I mean, our Shadows."

When Reizo barged in, Toru just tried to make himself smaller and disappear into his seat. What the hell was in that sack, anyway? Well, not Kozue, at the very least.

Kanaye gulped and sighed. "Masami, Yuuto, and Renju are new persona users." He would say more, but Reizo is still scary.

Misaki was a bit suprised by the bag, but nothing really that Reizo ever brought in really made her react as much anymore. She just stared at it, hearing the metalic crashing noise and said simply with a smile.

"Sakuraba-sempai found out she's a persona user too. So are the others, Shirai-san." She pointed to the bag, "Are you practicing for playing Santa at the hospital this year?"

As per usual at the meetings, Keiichi had remained largely quiet, though whether it was because he thought he'd be shouted down or because he had nothing to say would remain unknown.

This time, though, he'd been jotting down the group's thoughts in his notebook. It certainly seemed like they were making headway, though the headway they were making was decidedly depressing.

And then, in came Reizo. With a sack. For a few moments, he half-wondered if Reizo had brought them the body to analyze.

Keiichi turned to Misaki. Looked at her for several, long moments, and wondered how anyone could possibly be that dense.

Reizo at a hospital was probably more harmful than Shadow Kou AND Shadow Toru combined.

"Beware of Greeks bearing gifts," Keiichi muttered under his breath.

"Even if I did bet my grandma in a card game, I certainly wouldn't lose," Kiriko grumbled as she got to her feet. "Did you hear any of what I was saying? We know for sure that Paradise is killing the people who fall into it, now."

She stepped over to the table, lifting up some of the burlap to take a peek inside of Reizo's sack of "gifts."

"What's all this?"

“Right, new persona users,” he repeated dully after Kanaye, eyes sweeping across the newbies. He almost recognized them. He hung his cigarette from his lower lip again and frowned, “I’m no fuckin’ Santa and I ain’t a Greek. Though my mom is like an eighth German, I think..” He squinted down at the sack pensively, working this over, until Kiriko stood up and addressed him.

“Well congratulations, I guess,” he said, deciding it was definitely German. He leaned down and hoisted the sack tail-end up with a grunt of effort. Weapons and other vaguely weapon looking things cascaded out of the bulging sack, clattered onto the table into a large heap and settled amidst the hiss of metal on metal.

“I found some stuff,” he explained in a tone suggesting it best not to ask where or how, then jerked the bat loose of the weapon pile and laid it across a shoulder. His smile grew toothy, “Then these guys came up to me and gave me all the stuff they were carrying too. I figured Maeko-chan here would approve of me confiscating such dangerous things, bein’ part of the ABC and all.”
