School Trip, Day Three. (Walk to museum, Museuming/Meeting, Bus Ride Home)
Who: Everyone
What: Walk, museum/meeting, hometime
Where: IN A MUSEUM
When: Late May
Why: We like geology

Aomori had already packed away his tent and gone when Banno-sensei walked through the feild with a megaphone, shouting to wake everyone up. Today was a museum trip and heading back into town.

Rubbing his face, Kouchisei realised he didn't have a clue. Ishino-sensei was frantically trying to contact someone with her mobile, and Banno-sensei was being an ass again. Something was happening; he could feel it but didn't know what. He hated not knowing. It left him vulnerable. So when Toshimi came over he was glad for the distraction.

He listened, and nodded at Ishino.

"Her behaviour's suspicious, don't you think?"

And now that he thought about it.

"Hey, have you seen Aomori-sensei?"

Toshimi observed the teachers, thinking. True, Banno was usually somewhat pompous and Ishino had recently used her panicked facial expression rather frequently, but this still seemed fairly extreme. She nodded to her classmate, "Something does seem...out of the ordinary."

"Coach?" She thought about it. Usually he was fairly easy to spot in a crowd, but he didn't seem to be there. "Don't think I've seen him all day, actually."

She tried compiling all the circumstances in her mind to think of a plausible explanation. "Uh...maybe someone got lost? Aomori-sensei could be looking for them..."

Looking at Ishino-sensei, though, Toshimi shook her head. "But probably not...what could happen that they'd need everyone to clear out of the museum?"

Kouchisei shrugged. Maybe Toshimi was right. Plenty of kids wandered off, he thought; he liked to explore beyond walls, and if he did he wasn't the only one. His gaze moved over the crowd, turning to the faculty, where Aomori still hadn't arrived. This situation was wrong! He'd been on field trips - teachers didn't go missing. Suspects? He didn't think Reizo visited museums.

He turned to look at the rest of the class. He rubbed his arms, and then crossed them and buried his hands.

"Doubt it's Shirai. Not the fire alarm. Hmn. I've got no idea at the moment. What about you?"

Toshimi stood on her toes, trying to get a clearer view of Ishino's phone conversation. If she could figure out what she was talking about, that would be a valuable hint. But it was useless; Toshimi couldn't read lips.

"You think someone did something?" she considered, turning back to Kouchisei. If that were the case, she hated to admit it, but it would be her first inclination to suspect Shirai.

Guessing was easy enough, but it was all that she could do at the moment. There were only a few circumstances that would allow this situation to make sense. "Maybe something's dangerous in the building." She didn't know what would be dangerous in a geology museum, though. "Like...carbon monoxide or something?"

Her phone was buzzing in her pocket. "Oh--" She took her phone out and looked. "It's from Ikeda-san." Normally she wouldn't have checked her phone in the middle of a conversation, but she figured it was probably related. "Doesn't seem like she knows anything either."

	Kouchisei opened his phone, having thought his was buzzing. Messages... Inbox... Ikeda. He looked over the crowd and saw Kiriko standing in the distance. He wouldn't have thought she could call both of them at once, and nodded as Toshimi spoke. "Hrm. Forwarded to everyone?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Looks like it," she nodded. "I guess that way if anyone knows anything, she could just text us all back." She started punching out her reply key by key. "I wish I had something to tell her, though. I guess we'll find out soon enough." But the unknown factor here was giving Toshimi an uneasy feeling. (Reply to this) (Parent)
