School Trip, Day Two. (THE GREAT OUTDOORS)

Who: EVERYONE (npcs welcome)
What: Hiking, Meeting (Major Arcana Only), Setting up Tents, Cooking, MYSTERY FOOD X, King's Game, Sleepn (Possible bear-wrestling)
Where: IN A WOOD
When: Late May
Why: We like camping.

Aomori-sensei was waiting outside the hotel when everyone was awake, tapping a foot impatiently and looking at his watch. Ishino-sensei seemed somewhat nervous. He'd snapped at her when she'd tried to speak to him. He was always a lot more patient with the students and she'd hoped that finally going on this trip would improve his mood. She shook her head and smiled. It was her fault her colleague had to deal with all the reporters and so she had no right to complain when he was in a mood like this.

Tent arrangements:

Boys
3: Reizo/Toru/Akiyama
3: Kanaye/Yuuto/Kou
4: Gendou/Keiichi/Shin

Girls
3: Toshimi/Maeko/Shiori
3: Kojima/Renju/Mitsuko
4: Kiriko/Emi/Masami
4: Noriko/Misaki/Tori/Kozue

Keiichi, for his part, frowned. He had forked a bite and the bite was halfway to his mouth when he realized something...important.

"Um," he interjected, an extremely confused look on his face. "I didn't cook this." He took a delicate sniff of whatever it was, and frowned. Again.

"There's...grape jelly in this. And tomato sauce. And..."

The grimace on his face only deepened. "No competent chef would make this. Who could possibly disgrace edible things like this?"

"You made it." Maeko said, quickly becoming annoyed with everyone messing around. "We've been here the whole time."

She finally took a little of Kou's and put it in her mouth angrily.

Even Maeko's pallette could tell that this was bad. Unnatural. Still, she managed to swallow it and then attempted to discreetly take a gulp of water.

"There, it's fine." She snapped, too stubborn to admit that it was terrible. She took another few forkfuls of her own bowl to dilute the horrible taste.

Kanaye just stared at Keiichi. "...Wow. Someone took our food or something? Who would do something like that!" he announced angrily. "We should lynch them. Or just glare at them very angrily. I like that idea, actually."

Noticing Maeko's reaction, he noted that there were several explanations for this bullshit. Kanaye decided to sort them in a list for anybody that happened to be looking in his head right now.
1: She's a robot. Unlikely.
2: She's undead. Also unlikely.
3: She just likes that kinda stuff. Slightly more likely but not by much.
4: She was faking it. Probably the answer.
"Maeko, you DO realize you don't fool anyone, right? Do you EVER admit that you're wrong?"

"I'm not wrong. It's fine!" Maeko said, taking another sip of water.

"Besides, what else do you intend to eat?"

Misaki heard the shout from Kanaye and walked over with her untouched plate. She'd already served her group and looked a bit worried about this group. Heading over her eyes went wide at seeing Kou and she crouched down.

"Oubai-sempai..." looking at Kanaye she held out the plate to him, "Here you can eat this..." Standing up she went over to Kou's plate and hearing Keiichi, she sniffed and tasted very carefully then pulled out her kleenex and spat into it. "Ewwww, the meat is under cooked and the veggies are over cooked. This in no way is edible. Maeko, don't eat another bite." Taking the plates from the table she walked off to some trees and quickly dug a small hole with the heel of her shoe, dumped the food in it, and covered it with dirt muttering. "Not even animals shoul have to eat this. It might kill them."

Walking back over she set the plates down and went to her bag pulling out two bottles of water, thankfully she had six leaving her with four, and cleanned off the plates, and then the pot. Using the other bottle of water she filled it up then dumped the remaining rice, and started to mix in some vegtables and spices. "Keiichi-kun, can you help me with this. I'm trying to make some congree with veggies and I want to make sure I have it at the right tempature. It should help Oubai-sempai's stomach and It'll be filling, I think. Or at least I hope."

Maeko sighed, irritated. Now they were making Misaki work again. She went back to her own dinner, continuing to eat it gingerly.

"Maeko-chan! Don't eat that!" misaki scolded her gently and poured out some of the mixture and handed it to her, "Here, please eat this, I know it's not as fancy as the other thing but this is a lot better tasting."

She gave Maeko a puppy eyed look that pleaded with her.

"It's fine." Maeko said, motionning to her bowl. "Mine's normal. Ito-san worked hard to cook this so we should at least eat the ones that aren't weird. It'd be impolite not to."

Keiichi walked over to Misaki, and busied himself trying to help her with the makeshift dinner. Inwardly, though, he was seething.

Something was wrong, and it wasn't his cooking.

"There's only one way to explain why some of them are good and some aren't," Keiichi told his second-in-command, quietly. "It was all served from the same pot. It wouldn't make sense for only some of it to be bad. Something has to have happened..."

Having his cooking screwed with did not make him happy. Not at all.

"It's okay Keiichi-sempai. You did your best, and if someone did mess it up, well we can find them through the fact that they have your cooking now. You know what you made so...we can track them through that I guess." Misaki said.
