Who: Ruby, Samuel, Atropine, Esras, Icarus, Ben, Lucifer, Jasper (and possibly Aladdin Sane)
What: The torture and eventual death of Samuel Madison.
When: Immediately after the events of this and this
Where: Esras' surgery.
Status: Incomplete.
After having arrived on the scene at Atropine's flat to find her already drugged, Ruby had put Madison in the back of a company car, Attie up front with the driver, and headed toward the surgery. Of course, the drive was still fairly eventful despite being confined to a car. Ruby had called Icarus to let him know they were en route and hit Madison across the face with the butt of her pistol when she remembered that Atropine was wearing a torn dress. That son of a bitch. Eventually she had had to sit herself away from him so that she wouldn't inflict any more damage or, God forbid, kill him before they got to the rest of the group. It took every ounce of self control to keep her gun in her hand and not use it, but she managed just fine.
When they finally arrived in the back alley alongside the surgery, Ruby climbed out of the backseat and slammed the door behind her. She motioned for the driver to stand beside the door, "Watch him," and then moved to the front passenger door to retrieve Attie. Stooping down, she gathered the girl in her arms and lifted her out of the car carefully. Ruby held her close to her with one hand between her shoulderblades and nodded as the driver opened the side door for her so she could enter the surgery. Her heels echoed on the tile as she walked and she looked to the men who had clearly been waiting utterly on edge for her arrival. "She's alive," she said immediately and sought an empty table to put her on. "And that thing is in the backseat."
As she laid Attie down, Ruby was as gentle as possible and took great care to make sure that her head met the table gingerly. "He drugged her and tried to rape her," she stated plainly as she stood up and brushed herself off a little. She added in an even tone, "I shot him in the shoulder and the knee. He's still alive. Do you need my gun?" That was mostly directed a Ben and she raised her eyebrows just slightly at him. She knew for a fact that her rage probably paled in comparison to his and her brother's and considering how difficult it had been to keep her temper in check, she could only imagine what that felt like. It was almost frightening.
