Action Scene: Snape has dreams for the future? Really?

Harry stood on Snape's front step nervously. It had been over a week since he'd last been told to go buy something nice for himself, and here he was standing in front of Snape's home wearing it. He knew he didn't have to knock, but something kept him firmly in place and wasn't allowing him to move forward. What if Snape didn't like it? Why did that even matter?

He shook his head and gripped the doorknob, jumping back in surprise when it turned without him moving it.

"You could at least remove your shoes before dumping your feet in my lap," Severus groused, tugging off Harry's shoes and dropping them on the floor. "A shop isn't an option at the moment."

"It could be," Harry returned with a speculative expression. He wiggled his socked foot against Snape's chest, before dropping it gently.
