Action Scene: The Slytherin Common Room

"Well would you like to tell us what is going on? Or will we have to figure things out ourselves?" Draco asked, "And I assure that you will not like our methods of procuring information."

McGonagall looked at him with an indifferent expression on her face.

"That's enough Draco," admonished Narcissa, "I am sure the Professor was just getting to that."

Draco looked away.

"Yes Professor," Lucius said with a smirk, "we are waiting."

McGonagall's face grew sterner and she straightened herself. "Miss Granger mentioned this to me, yes. Be that as it may, I will never forget what your son has done. Or you, Mrs. Malfoy, or your husband." She paused. "But for your good deeds, I will allow you to remain within the walls of Hogwarts." She glanced at Draco. "You do not deserve any information concerning what is going on."

She met his challenging gaze head on. "So you say, but I know better, and I will never forget. Remember that. If you want to know anything, perhaps you should find Professor Slughorn. He is your Head of House, after all." She glanced at the three Malfoys. "If you have need of anything as well, speak to him. There is much to be done and burials to plan. Your...master did great damage to this school."

Draco's lips tightened into a line. He met McGonagall's gaze for a moment before looking away. He wanted to tell her that he had, had no choice in any of those things, but he kept silent. She didn't care. He tried not to wince at the Master comment. "Of course Professor, we won't take up anymore of your time," Draco said, "could you perhaps tell us where you last saw him?"

Snape blinked when he saw Draco spin around and notice him. He did not mean for anyone to see that he was there. As there was no use in running away, he lifted his chin and walked out of the shadows.

"Mr. Malfoy, I have told you before that you were never to call me 'Sev.' It is a horrid nickname fit for Muggles and lesser beings. you are neither and the same goes for myself."

He met Narcissa and Lucius' gazes. "Morning, Narcissa. Lucius. I am pleasantly surprised to see you both alive and well."

For a split second he contemplated throwing himself at his Godfather, but decided that despite being his Godson, Sev would not hesitate to hex him. He settled for grinning cheekily at him.
