Action Scene: Lily meets Neville

Back from her walk, subsequent anger management session with the furniture in the courtyard, Lily was exhausted. Mentally and physically, Lily was tired of fighting with herself and everyone else. Once things settled down at the castle, Lily hoped, that she would be able to get on with her life. Whatever that would be.

Thinking the only logical place to think, without minimal interruption would be the Gryffindor Common room. Drat, she thought, making her way up the stairs, the passwords get changed all the time. There would be no way to guess the password without making the portraits angry.

Frowning, Lily stood outside the entrance to the Tower, waiting for someone who was in the House to come by and tell her the password. Or, at the very least, let her in. She could always get the password from someone else later.

Harry moved forward and hugged her. It felt nice. Why hadn't he done this before? She smelled of lilacs and was warm and it was a lovely feeling to him. This was different than hugging Molly Weasley in a way he couldn't explain.

"Possibly. But maybe the thought that we'd leave him there will scare him into maturity?" he said the last part with so much hope, he had to smile at his own words.

	Wrapping her arms around Harry's shoulders, Lily smiled to herself. She didn't think she'd ever get the chance to simply hug her son again, and being able to do so, was a wonderful feeling. 	Lily wondered briefly if some unknown curse had befallen the boy as he hadn't spoken more than three words since Harry had joined them in the corridor. 	Didn't she know what it meant? Well probably not seeing as she had been dead. He wondered at that for a moment, before chasing the thought away.He would talk to Harry later. "Of course Mrs...er..Lily," he stuttered. Damn, where had his cool gone? (Reply to this) (Parent)
