Action Scene: Lily meets Neville

Back from her walk, subsequent anger management session with the furniture in the courtyard, Lily was exhausted. Mentally and physically, Lily was tired of fighting with herself and everyone else. Once things settled down at the castle, Lily hoped, that she would be able to get on with her life. Whatever that would be.

Thinking the only logical place to think, without minimal interruption would be the Gryffindor Common room. Drat, she thought, making her way up the stairs, the passwords get changed all the time. There would be no way to guess the password without making the portraits angry.

Frowning, Lily stood outside the entrance to the Tower, waiting for someone who was in the House to come by and tell her the password. Or, at the very least, let her in. She could always get the password from someone else later.

Neville got up from the bed and made his way resolutely out the dorm. He could not hide away here forever. It had already been two days. He ignored the little voice in the back of his head wondering why no one had come looking for him. He made his way through the Common Room and through the portrait hole. He wasn't paying attention to where he was going and didn't notice that someone was standing outside the portrait hole.

	"Finally," Lily muttered as she heard someone making their way through the portrait hole. Not recognizing the boy who emerged, Lily wasn't sure how to address him.
