Action Scene: Wherein Harry and Snape get drunk at the Hogshead

This was simply unacceptable. Coming back from the dead, even if few realized he had ever been dead, was turning into a walking nightmare. Severus opened the door to the Hogshead and went straight to the bar, not bothering to look at the other occupants. It wasn't as if the Hogshead had a stellar clientèle , which was a fact he was counting on tonight. He wouldn't mind losing himself amongst the dregs of humanity and a bottle of bad liquor.

"Whiskey. I'll take the bottle," he said, tossing some coins on to the counter.

The barman merely grunted and handed Severus a spotted glass along with a bottle of whiskey. He immediately poured himself a shot, drank it down and reveled in the burn as it went down his throat. He wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, then went in search of a table, preferably in a dark corner. Severus scowled when he realized the darkest corner was already occupied. He was about to find another place to drink his sorrows away, when he recognized the mess of shaggy hair.

Sneering, he walked to the table and sat down, placing the bottle in the middle of the table. "You shouldn't be here, Potter."

Snape rolled his eyes before closing them so the world would stop spinning. "Nose's fine," Snape groused, eying his drink warily before taking a sip. He could hardly taste it anymore, which meant he'd had more than enough.

"It's your mouth I want, not your nose," he said, waving a hand dismissively in the air. "Stupid, bloody, ruddy, bloody mouth," muttered, resting his chin in both hands. "I said bloody twice."

"Which is even weirder! I mean, how did she put up with him on a daily basis! His singing is horrible! Even Dudley's brief fling with a chorus came out better than that and that's a frightening thingie cause Dudley's scary, you know? I mean...he could like sit on you and you'd be dead. Really awkward, couldn't make fun of him either or he'd knock out your teeth. He knocked out my front two in primary school. Didn't like him too much."
