Action Scene: Padfoot runs from himself only to find the past isn't ever far behind

Sirius left Lily alone, thinking about all he'd said to her, and wondering if he'd gone round the twist or not. Remus has always been the sane one, the calm, cool and collected one and now, was he actually trying to fill those world weary shoes? Did Harry even need either of them any longer?

Groaning, he rubbed his face and sighed as he looked to the heavens and did the one thing that had always calmed him in the past. He shifted into Padfoot, shaking his fur and turning his nose to the sky. He inhaled the late afternoon scents and looked around the grounds. Taking off at a dash, running full out and hard, he tried to exhaust himself and his mind. Things were so much easier as a dog.

Skidding to a stop and panting, he spotted a figure in the distance. He sniffed the air, snuffling softly as he recognized the scent. He loped closer and changed back, leaning against a tree and breathing heavily as he closed his eyes.

"Come on out, I know you're there."

	Remus gasped sharply, not quite prepared for the sensation that shot through him. He dug his hands into Sirius's hair, pushing gently as Sirius's mouth worked its way across his chest. Sirius sucked hard then pulled off, wanting to mark Remus up and send him back to the bint but he knew better. He peered up at Remus and grabbed his face, looking into his dazed eyes.

"Don't. Don't bring her into this. It's just us, Moony. She has no place her in between us." He brushed his thumbs across Remus's cheeks and slid his hands down Remus's face as he leaned in to press their mouths together.

"Forget her for now, just feel me and you...us." Sirius slid Remus's belt open once more, rubbing the back of his hand over Remus's groin as he threaded his other hand in his hair and pulling him into another kiss.

Remus practically melted at Sirius's feet. His words were caring, perfect... exactly what he needed to hear. He didn't resist or hesitate when Sirius touched him this time. He did exactly what he'd suggested and forgot his troubled life at home, forgot everything except the man in front of him and the hand stroking him and how it made him feel and what it was doing to him.

He moaned and pressed further into the kiss, then blindly pushed Sirius forward until he felt a tree block their path. He lowered himself to the ground, guiding Sirius to slide down against the tree trunk with him, never breaking the kiss or letting Sirius's hand leave its place on him.
