Lorna was settled on the roof with a mug of cocoa in her hands waiting for Jubilee to do her thing. She'd set one of the cameras trained on the area, so anybody who didn't want to brave the snow and cold could watch from the camera room.

"Okay, they need to hurry the hell up," she said, even the slight green glow around her and Jubilee got brighter, along with the heat she was emanating. "I cannot keep this up forever."

He'd seen the ice park, of course. Couldn't have missed it if he'd tried. And he'd watched, both from the roof and the sky, as so many of the mansion's residents had taken advantage of it. It wasn't in his own nature to do so, of course, not without Bobby actually haranguing him into doing so, and thus he had limited himself to watching. Faintly amused by the sight of some of the other residents contorting themselves into a space designed for children though, true to form, just large enough for adults to contort themselves into for maximum entertainment value. Except Bobby wasn't there to point and laugh and lead the way, which made the whole display seem vaguely alien and unreal.

And now it seemed most of the compound's population was gathering on the roof or the lawn to watch Jubilee's fireworks. He wouldn't pretend he wasn't looking forward to the display; they'd have been well worth watching all on their own, but they'd be particularly stunning over the glittering ice sculptures. Fortunately, his room provided the ideal view, as he wasn't particularly enamored of the idea of dealing with the crowd on the roof.

He didn't bother to knock, just turned the knob and wandered in. Didn't mark a greeting, didn't smile. It was an odd shift to be sure, but a natural one that found Warren and himself in a sort of gravitational alignment. There was never any discussion or a push toward discussion, there was just existing. And acknowledging that existence, and marking it as special.

Closing the door behind him, he crossed to Warren, joining him just as the light show began.

Warren just shifted silently to make room for Bobby at the window. One wing arched back as he slipped behind the other man, then both mantled around as he looped one arm loosely around Bobby's shoulder and across his chest and watched as the night exploded into glittering color.

Bobby leaned back into the solid length of Warren against his back, hands reaching up to clasp his forearm. Head resting against the curve of Warren's shoulder, he leaned his temple against him and watched the lights wash over the field of ice and snow below.

Warren's breath escaped on a silent sigh and he tipped his own head slightly to meet Bobby's, relaxing into the cool weight leaning into him. Two years they would have talked, now there was no need and, more importantly, no desire on either of their parts. It was sufficient to simply be there.
