Lorna was settled on the roof with a mug of cocoa in her hands waiting for Jubilee to do her thing. She'd set one of the cameras trained on the area, so anybody who didn't want to brave the snow and cold could watch from the camera room.

"Okay, they need to hurry the hell up," she said, even the slight green glow around her and Jubilee got brighter, along with the heat she was emanating. "I cannot keep this up forever."

Sharon looked over at Kitty, purring in response to the greeting and then stretching up to sniff at her hand for a moment before following her nose in and rubbing her head against it.

The music started and she looked up, tilting her head at the big wall machine. It was a lot better down there than it had been upstairs, and the music was nicer to listen to than the fireworks.

Kitty scratched her head, remembering the little grey tabby her maternal grandmother kept for many years. She started to smile when she saw Sharon peek up at the computers. Almost at the same second, she startled and withdrew her hand and typed something in to the nearest keyboard, shifting the angles in three of the screens. Kitty kept typing and the cameras all zoomed in one at a time before eventually discerning that a certain pattern of shadows wasn't, in fact, movement in the trees.

She almost laughed at herself as calm settled back down on her. She was jumpy tonight. It felt like Jubilee's fireworks had turned the air electric and every molecule in her body was vibrating just a little extra.

Sharon was purring right up until the second that Kitty moved her hand quickly, typing on the keyboard and making the big screens move around a lot. She wasn't sure what she was looking for or if something was wrong, but she couldn't exactly ask when she was a cat so she transformed silently into her people form, tucking her legs beneath her on the seat.

"Is it wrong?" She nodded at the screen, giving Kitty a concerned look.
