Her lips pressed together in something between a smile and a grimace, completely in agreement with that. She was so used to being around people with powers and then having her own that it was just life to her, but she could imagine what it might be like over there where people couldn't do the things they could do, where their powers were things of myths and comic books, legends. "Yeah," she agreed softly at the after thought, wondering if that's what he'd done, hidden who he was. Asking was definitely out of the question, though. She barely knew him, and that was far too personal a question for her to ask.
Julie fell quiet then, just staring out over the water, enjoying the faint mist as the waves crashed over the shore. She was feeling relaxed and content, which was a far cry from how'd she'd felt when she'd first left her house. The calm suited her so much more than the frustration had. "So, what do you do for fun around here?" she asked after a few minutes. She was always curious about what other people came up with, and she wasn't against getting ideas for things to do despite having lived here for so long.
