Hi all, Lexi here with my first girl.
This is Zoe she’s 22 and reeeeeeeally smart. And that’s why she’s here. Her brain operates like a computer and she can fix or invent almost anything (almost) think of her like a female forge, but not as broody or jerky.
She’s been on the island since she was 17 and 18-20 she worked maintenance (like fixing light bulbs and plunging toilets), the last 2 years though she’s been working as a tech in the facility to help others learn and control their powers. She invents stuff!
She does have a twin brother and older step sister who will be wanteds.
But she wants all the plots!!!

Hello lovely players! For our Memorial Day game-wide event, there will be an island-wide festival, with a few of the kinder-hearted guards hosting a beach barbecue for all residents on Monday, May 27th. Food and drink and music will be provided. Some of the guards are just trying to boost morale, while others are assigned to watch and track suspicious or dangerous mutants. All residents should be in attendance at some point. Any questions, feel free to drop them here! Comments are screened.

It’s me, your friendly neighborhood Raeness bringing you some fresh blood:
This is Ian Marsh. He’s 35, and one of the guards you’ll see around the island keeping the order and the peace. You can find his bio here. Contrary to the other guards stationed around he is more citizen friendly. His main duty is to guard and manage the distribution of products and rations bi-weekly; oh, and did I mention he started an underground smuggling ring?
You won’t see him harassing anyone who doesn’t deserve it but he will be keeping the population safe as the “quarantine” continues.
I want things with the citizens (of course) those who might have an idea as to what he’s up to and who might need things, friends, those he’s developed some sort of secret something or another with (surprise me), and of course enemies.

Just an FYI for feline spottings. While there is overlap, these are the more frequent sightings.
An orange tabby named Oliver (leather hand made collar) can be spotted around the residential areas. It seems to have adopted a few humans as it’s own.
A gray and white cat named Mr. Tumbles (a makeshift yarn collar with a scotch tape nametag) has been spotted around the marketplace and some of the other stores. It will bed for food scraps and loves belly rubs.
A grey Manx cat named Mew (real looking collar with the name carved into it) can be spotted around the outside of town and near the facility as well as the park. It’s pretty playful but also very feral, can often be seen hunting birds and mice.
The Director does caution traveling through the woods- especially alone as a mountain lion has been spotted on occasion. No new restrictions have been made just caution encouraged.

He went through some bad stuff and he was in the seedy sections of Seattle when the power plant began to leak. At first he didn't know he had any abilities, but the migraines said otherwise. Owing his freedom to Caspian Finn, he stayed with Caspian and Laura, then moving to the Island with them. He's a normally laid back guy, sociable when he's warmed up a bit. Dorian likes books, music, nature.

Hi everyone. I'm Em and I have two lovely gentlemen to bring into the game. I'm still in the process of doing character biographies and histories but here's the basics so far.
Finnegan 'Finn' Thompson finn_thomps - He runs the library situated in The Facility, he used to manage the family bookshop back in his hometown of Oak Harbor but after getting exposed pretty early on and when he started developing 'side effects' he was sent to Destruction Island. He has hydrokinesis (the ability to control water) and has spent his years on the island developing his abilities and has gotten pretty good at using them. Finn lives with his boyfriend, Riley Kipp in a nice little one bedroom place. He likes surfing, swimming and lazy days strolling around the island or curled up with a good book if the weather isn't good. Finn also plays two instruments - the piano and violin, the sounds of the later can usually be heard during quiet times in the library. He can come across as shy to strangers but talk about books or music and you'll see the real Finn.
Benjamin 'Ben' Dubay painlingers - A Quebecois native he got his PhD in Earth and Planetary Sciences (Volcanology and Mineralogy), he was studying in the upper Cascade Mountains when he unknowingly got exposed but left for Hawaii just before the meltdown occurred. He was travelling the world studying different volcanoes when he started hearing voices, which was wrongly diagnosed as some kind of schizophrenia. As it turned out what he was hearing was all kinds of animals talking to each other and occasionally to him, keeping this to himself he also discovered that he could control the actions of animals as well. Life as he knew it was turned upside down when at the end of 2018 it was discovered that he was exposed to radiation and was sent to Destruction Island. Now he's trying to settling into his new life - he's offered to teach French at The Facility and is also exploring the geology of the island he now calls home.

Hello friends! Nicole here, super excited to play with you all again. I have three ladies here, all the deets are below:
darynoconner Daryn O'Conner - A physician at the Facility, she is was mute, and has telepathy, telekinesis, and health manipulation (which is unknown to the government and so not figured into her Danger Level II Status). She was one of the first groups of mutants brought to the island in 2013, and one of the founding members of the Faction in 2014. She eventually became the leader, but disappeared in late 2017 after being attacked and detained by government agents. The government thought that took care of the Faction problem, but Daryn maintained frequent telepathic contact with trusted members from December 2017 until April 2019. No one has heard from her since. During game open, she'll return to the general population of Destruction Island, a changed woman.
I'd love to develop/re-develop some of her Faction friends/contacts, and establish new relationships for her now that she is 'free.'
hryers Hannah Ryers - Former EDM DJ, Hannah was an unwitting member of the Riken Experiment after she was arrested for hacking into satellites and causing a shitton of FCC and NSA violations. She is forced to work for the government in security as her sentence. She hates her job, and is itching to stick it to the man. She's got sound manipulation, technological manipulation, and technological transportation abilities. She's been on the island about three years. As a government agent, she is not classified in a danger level, but her sound manipulation can be weaponized and she is a flight risk.
She needs all the things, possible government connections (good or bad), and other friends/influencers.
lucky_seven Laura Finn - Diner waitress, wife to Caspian, mother to Caitlyn. She is Danger Level I - Biologically Armed and Dangerous due to her pyrokinesis. She's kind of bitter about being stuck on Destruction when the plan had been to go somewhere nice and expand their family. If nothing else, she's glad to be in a place where she doesn't have to hide her abilities. Her family is the most important thing in her world. You don't want to piss her off though.
She needs things too!

Hola,
I’m Rae. I think all of you know me already (shhhhhh, i get around) but I’m excited to have all of you here to write with! For those of you who don’t know my current cast, I will introduce you to them and hope for the best.
Kyrie Van Zandt kbvanz - this is Kyrie. She is a former beauty queen from Colorado who is fairly new to the area. She migrated over with Fitz Killian, a old friend of her brother’s who has become like a brother to her. She was forced to give up her crown and her life in Colorado when things began to go awry in the government for people with abilities. She has superhuman strength but tries not to let on that she is any more than she seems. Her personality is shy, quiet, but once she opens up she tries to be a good friend and a decent person. Currently she resides with her “cat” Oliver, who is her brother figure/best friend posing as a cat, though she would never let on any differently.
Riley Kip rkip - this is Riley. He is a school teacher currently working at The Facility, nurturing young minds of those children residing on the island. He lives with his boyfriend, Finnegan Thompson, and he has the power to control color. The ability itself is called Chromakinesis and it’s pretty easy to conceal. He’s a pretty easy going fella from Texas, super personable, willing to make friends with just about anybody. While he can be a bit outspoken he keeps his head down when it comes to governmental issues and does the best he can to make the best of his current situation.
Caspian Finn caspianfinn - this is Caspian. Whatever shady things are going down on the island you can be he’s involved some how in the thick of it. Himself, his wife Laura, and their daughter Caitlyn migrated over from New York where he ran a drug based operation. His abilities include telepathy and mneumokinesis which can make him a dangerous person to be around. He’s a practical person, rational, but not always a nice person. His family comes first no matter what and at any cost.

Welcome to Destruction Island everyone!
You all have been added to the cast list, the contact page, and the friend’s button.
You can find the Directory for other players here. Please be sure to tap the Friend’s Add button while you’re there. Make sure you’ve friended the community pages here, here, and here.
Leave a little bit about yourself and your character in the OOC community and make sure you check the Island Map for locations and to see where your character as been assigned to live.
The game is set to open officially this weekend with a hard date of Saturday, May 18th. We should have everything up and moving by that point with only a few things left to tweak, if anything. Please take the opportunity to connect with each other for plotting, start your gdoc’s if you’d like, and get to know the community. If you would like to spread the word about our little game please feel free, we would love to see new faces and broaden our horizons. Adds will be done on a first come first serve basis until the opening date, and after we might drop to a couple of nights a week or decide if an as-needed basis works better with our small group of players.
Just a few notes: communication on the island is limited to the outside world, this includes social media, emails, ordering from places like Amazon, or subscribing to things like Netflix. If you have specific questions regarding those things outside of what is outlined in the FAQ please leave a Dropbox so the mods can talk about it appropriately. We love Discord questions and while that’s faster, the idea of playing telephone between each other is not always so easy with hectic work schedules. We will get a Discord server together soon, hopefully before Saturday, to make communication easier. Baby steps. Be excellent to each other, we are glad to have each of you here.
If you are finding access to certain things limited please reach out to one of us (or both) and we will try to fix that as soon as possible.

Hey all, my name is Lexi. I'm here with two boys. Jakob Hale and Fitz.
Jakob Hale - blinkandmiss - 24 - Teleporter - Undercover Government Agent
Jake is a former foster kid who was in a home where other kids started to show powers. Their foster parent reported the situation to the authorities and they raided the home. Jakob was taken to Riken and experimented on. He was broken down and brainwashed and acted as an asset of Riken until they were truly certain he was under their control. A chip was implanted to limit or 'turn off' his powers and he was sent to Destruction Island in 2014 after the attempted uprising. He's living as a normal resident, but reporting in to a handler and currently his mission is just to observe.
Pierce Fitzpatrick (Fitz) Killian - mizikfelin - 27 - Feline Animorph - Former soldier, former private security electrician, current house pet
Fitz snuck onto the island on the boat that carried the younger sister of his childhood friend and former squadmate. After his friend died in an op gone bad overseas Fitz watched out for Kyire and when she came to the island around the time it opened, he snuck on (having seen the 'no pets allowed' sign) as a cat. Their plan was that if things went south, he'd not be registered and could help them escape. Things didn't go as planned. He spends most of his time as a cat, save for when he's in Kyire's house. When it was first forming he joined the Faction as a spy/scout. Most don't actually know who he is, but he has been in some telepathic 'meetings'.
Anyhow, always up for plots with my kids.
