Hi everyone! I'm Lex and I'm new around here.
I have Maya Friedman for everyone to toss their lovelies at. She's 28 and from Israel, but she's been in the states since she's about 14 (her dad got a job at Nintendo, how super awesome!?). She's really uptight and a serious introvert, very serious about her work and a general homebody. She doesn't like to go 'out' but she loves to be outdoors.
Maya went to Northwestern University for pre-med, and Stanford for med school. She did her first year of residency at Northwestern Hospital in Seattle before volunteering to work at the Facility as a way to search for her missing family (Mom, Dad, younger sister Thalia). She's been on the island for about a year at this point, maybe a little more, but she'll need some of everything. I can't necessarily say that she'll befriend someone until we play them out, because Maya is picky as all hell.
Maya has mental healing and medical intuition, which means she can heal peoples' mental illnesses and any scars that might've been left from mind control and whatnot, as well as the ability to know beyond the shadow of a doubt how to cure people's ailments (even though she often doubts and second guesses herself).
That being said, throw everything my way please!

Hola!
Your friendly, neighborhood Raeness here bringing you my latest slice of trouble:
Please meet Megan Avery. She’s 25, formerly the bassist in a popular all female punk band Playing Mantis who is currently serving as the resident baker at the Marketplace. All of those sweet treats she helps put together and provide for residential consumption. She’s loud but friendly, please don’t be afraid to approach unless you have an ulterior agenda.
Megan has Geokinesis - please see the write up in her bio for more details - but she can create and manipulate the earth as she sees fit (in a nutshell).
A long time resident of the island I’m sure she’s become pals or acquaintances at least of any characters who have also been on the island for a long time, and she will want to get to know any who are new to the island. She’s an avid supporter of the Arts (thank you Dani for that), always a musician at heart, and looks out for those who might need a bit of help standing up for themselves. Plus she makes a mean apple pie.

Hi there. My name is Meg and I’ve brought in Ehren.
Ehren is an unregistered clairvoyant who has crippling anxiety. Consequently his abilities present themselves in highly stressful situations. Ehren was an automobile mechanic at one point in his life but now he merely works as a machinist. He’s a member of the faction and gathers intel by peering into the future of government employees. Mostly he’s boring, trying to keep out of the limelight but he’s also a friendly engaging person once you get to know him.
He loves to read and he’s a writer himself, though not published. He was born and raised in Spokane and still vividly remembers a few of his foster home years. His main focus is helping the faction but he can only do so much before his body becomes too weak.
I’m looking for anything; friends, people who like to scare him, other faction members, medical professionals, co-workers, and maybe even a government employee or two he can spy on. Can’t wait to play with you guys!

Yo yo!
It’s your friendly, neighborhood Raeness bringing you a new slice of life. Please meet Roman. He’s your average, run of the mill narcissistic butthole with his own penchant for acting like he’s doing good things only he’s really not.
Roman has been around since 2014, shortly after the island began to receive residents. He’s a lawyer who works for the Government, defending the goings on that happens on the island while also “defends” the residents acting as a liaison and a source for grievances and information gathering.
The bottom line, he’s not a nice person. Anything he does in the game is for his own purposes strictly. He’s more of a lover, not much a fighter unless he’s duking it out in the courtroom.
Consider him the sympathetic friend who wants to help when really he’s gathering information to use it against you later on. Isn’t he a peach?
Any of the long term residents probably know him/have seen him around already. I would love to know their interpretations of him and how he deals with their concerns.
The newbies would have their hands full.

Hello lovely players! For the month of June, instead of one specific game-wide event, there will be a series of smaller, more sinister happenings. No character death will be involved, but character injury and/or property damage may occur. If you are interested in being a part of the game-wide plot for the month, please reply below. You will be contacted directly with the specifics related to your character. If you no longer wish to participate once given the specifics, there is the option for an alternate plot, or you have the right to opt out of involvement in the game plot for the month.
Feel free to volunteer or ask questions below. All comments will be screened.

Hello everyone! My name is Carlin and I'm bringing Daniela "Dani" Martinez into the game with me. She's a professional dancer turned dance instructor and founder of the Marigold Arts Center (there's a little info here on the locations page). She spent several months campaigning for the center so if your character was around from late summer to early winter 2017, they were likely approached by her or someone else helping her about supporting the center.
Beyond the center (which has sorta become her life's work at this point so excuse all the talk about it), Dani is caring and friendly. Oh, and she can also manipulate plants. Need help with that little plot in the community gardens? No problem! She's also part of that smuggling ring Ian and JD run (what better opportunity to reach people than through a community center?) but that's on the down low so shhh. You can read more about her here.
She needs friends, dance students, help at the art center, and basically anything else you can give her! She's been at the island since early summer of 2017 so she's bound to know people :D I look forward to RPing with all of you!

Meet Jackson David Matthew Stevenson, known mainly as JD or Jack. He's 36 and another one of those nice guards on the island and often seen patrolling alongside his BFF and fellow guard - Ian Marsh. He works alongside Ian with the food distribution and also the secret smuggling ring, while his friend usually sneaks in goods and things JD runs an underground postal service - he's got a private mail box in an assumed name on the mainland and is able to send and receive letters and small parcels from those on the island to their families.
Although he looks like he could crush your skull with his impressive arms he'd be more likely to crush you in a bear hug, he's an overall nice guy and follows orders like a good soldier - to a degree. JD won't harass the residents on the island even if his superiors tell him to, but he's not going to just sit back and take any kind of abuse from residents or fellow guards.

Hello everyone. It's River again with my second chara.
Say 'hello' to Esther Abigail Barnes aka Tess. She's 27 (almost 28) and has been on the island since 2013. She's a mechanic without a mechanic job. She loves motorcycles, engines, cars. Tess currently works at Josie's. Her telepathic ability is thankfully under her control. She doesn't mind living on the island, but she hasn't been the model resident the five years she's been here.
