Tea Time [tag: Hera]
There were, what certainly felt like, a million choices to be made. But most of them made themselves.
Harmonia was in a far better place, emotionally, than she had been in ages and for that she thought perhaps it was time to actually work on trying to integrate herself into Olympus. It was difficult to say 'again' since she had been so young when she left initially that she never really felt she had time to belong in the first place. Since she had initially reached out to Hera for assistance in getting established, and then -rather unexpectedly, Hera had provided the bit of a shoulder she had needed all along, it was logical that this was where she would return. Besides, the woman was not only Harmonia's Queen but her grandmother. It was logical.
Her time eased between three locations: the Underworld with Nyx's blessing and help -of which she'd never be able to repay, her home in Lanai, and more recently the temple home on Olympus nestled quietly on a hill not far from her father's. Bubbles was only allowed between the latter two homes.
The question was did she just go to Hera or invite Hera to come to her? Both had pros and cons, obviously, though what was the protocol in either instance? That dilemma was solved for her when happening upon Iris on a return trip from Dionysos' with Bubbles -where she was careful because of the things there that would want to eat the pig as a snack, and Balance posed the question regarding the protocol in such matters to the Rainbow goddess.
… who apparently was going to run with it. Harmonia was a bit intimidated when terms like intimate and endearing were used, but Iris smiled and assured that Hera loved visiting family when the reasons were good ones, and that she'd take care of everything. Even though Balance smiled and nodded in return, and breathed out a thank you, she wasn't sure how thankful she was. It moved awful fast. What had just happened?
What she was thankful for was the attendant she had received from Tyr nearly a year ago, whom he had acquired and/or saved -depending on perspective, from Enyo. The girl was extremely well trained -as any attendant who had been in Enyo's employ would have had to have been, and was extremely grateful to not have to worry about being killed for minor errors anymore. Therefore, she knew how to handle small appropriate foods, setting tea properly and wines... and all things things that would hopefully make Hera happy since they kept her head in place in Enyo's employ.
Now, if Bubbles would just behave. The pig was tense. Likely because her mistress was tense. “Come, Bubbles,” Harm chided, “lets go out into the garden. I can play with the flowers and you can roll on the grass. Then we can both calm down.” Well, and she could look out and see other parts of Olympus from over the gate, but that wasn't the whole reason for going outside.
