Three days had been enough time to settle back into Egypt. After visiting her siblings, establishing a mortal residence in Siwa and doing a bit of sight-seeing to inspect the changes to her homeland, Nephthys found herself idle and lonely. So long away from Egypt, she had no one waiting on her word, no tasks to be completed, nothing to do. Egypt had moved on without her. Hadn't that been what she wanted?
( It only took three days before she ended up on Set's doorstep. )
