Oh, he was definitely somewhere he shouldn't have been this time. Even if he hadn't been able to tell that from just looking around, he would have gathered from the way things felt. This was forbidden to outsiders. Especially ones like him who didn't have any real connection to this place. He could feel it pushing at him to go away. To get out.
Unfortunately for this place, he was small enough, and old enough, to avoid being forced out. He kept his place with only some mild discomfort to himself. He couldn't leave yet. The curiosity was killing him. It was far more difficult to ignore than the not-so-subtle shoving from his new environment.
He'd gotten in through a crack. Floated himself down on a string.
And like hell was he going to leave without having a good look around.

As soon as Njord was gone, out of earshot, Frigg screamed out in frustration. Her hands clasped around the mug of ale and tossed it toward her perfectly manicured wall with a force she rarely exerted. Normally when she threw things they were soft, such as pillows. But this was different. This had her far more angry than she'd been in a long time.
Just who did Njord think he was, talking to her like that? He was nothing. He was vanir and considering what had happened during the war between their people, he should have known his place. And that place was not one that allowed him the right to question her actions with such vitriol.
