dig ( akheron ) [05 Nov 2008|03:15pm]
She'd slipped out of the temple, though not with the same feel as Styx, Kratos, or even Nike. She'd tried to convey the idea that she would be okay to Zelos, though she was certain that he'd seen through that with ease. She just honestly felt that Nike needed him more than she did. This was mostly due to her not being ready to speak about it with anyone other than the source.

Akheron.

It would not be the smartest place to meet him, not strategically, but she was not there to fight him. There was an unusual lack of fight in Bia as of late and those closest to her could sense it. Feel it. The energy was just gone. There was a smothering amount of wrong in her life and it all seemed to swim up to the surface here; in the Temple of Pain.

She wouldn't suppress it, but rather let it accumulate as if beckoning him to arrive sooner. The words were forming in her mind and when she spoke her voice was not filled with anger or condemnation, but a calmness. "Akheron, Pain, I request audience with you here." There wasn't even a feel of conviction in her tone. No command. She was sincerely asking him. She felt she needed to understand. She was tired of being confused and angry. Tired of her mother's demands of blind trust when she could not trust her own chidren with whatever secret that she was attempting to get them to trust her to keep. She wanted to know what the hell was going on, especially since it seemed to be driving a wedge in their family.

She was not helping, but she could not just jump to her mother's aid when the rest of the family would not see eye to eye.

She could fix it.

She could fix everything.

She had to fix everything. "Are you here? Will you grant me audience?"
