She really shouldn't have left Oslo so abruptly. She was on tenuous enough terms with the Queen of Asgard, and simply walking out on her was probably not the best idea she'd ever had. She just hadn't been able to stand it anymore. Pretending to play nice with Odin's wife was one thing, showing weakness in front of her was something else altogether. She needed to think, to try to get herself under control again.
She'd stepped out of the shop, and straight into the entrance of Sessrúmnir. Walking through the hall, she stopped long enough to grab a bottle of wine and a glass, brushing off the attempts of her attendants to assist their mistress. She continued to her bedroom, locking the doors behind her. After lighting a few candles, she undressed automatically, slipping into a simple black negligee, and crawled onto the fox fur cover.
