Cotton Candy and Sour Grapes [tag: Phlegethon] [30 Jun 2008|03:45pm]
Her father had made her feel a little better, he always did. She'd been given a little perspective into her own feelings, and that meant she could now deal with them and move on. At least she hoped so, but in the meantime, Freyja decided it was time for a little fun. Oddly, she had never once been to the theme park, and decided it was about time. Walt Disney World was supposed to be a place of enchantment, right? Maybe it's magical atmosphere would be just what she needed. And she'd always been a little curious about the seven dwarves.

Well, that had turned out to be a definite disappointment! They were absolutely nothing like the dwarves she was used to. Even she would never have slept with them, even for her wondrous necklace. Creepy. And with names like those, it was certainly guaranteed to not be a pleasant time for any of them. She could just picture herself, in the throes of passion, getting sneezed on! Yuck.

A Full House [tag: Sif, Thor] [30 Jun 2008|04:20pm]
Bragi stood at the top of the hill, gazing for a moment at the home before him. So what he'd heard was true. And if the new home was a fact, then the rest must be, too.

He had to admit he was impressed at its layout. Thor really had outdone himself. While Frigg may have turned a blind eye all these years, Bragi himself had often had the ear of his brother, and knew what this meant to him. It was time to congratulate the lovers. He'd brought a dozen roses for the lovely bride, and a fine bottle of cognac for the groom, and though he really couldn't be sure Thor would appreciate the quality of the beverage, he would certainly not turn down alcohol.

That was how he thought of them, as newlyweds.

Three Olives [tag: Selene] [30 Jun 2008|04:59pm]
"I love him, I just don't know if I'm in love with him anymore. Does that make any sense at all?" Iris sighed and stirred the martini with the spear the olives were attached to.

It was the truth. She held a certain love in her heart for Zephyrus and always would, especially since he was the father of her son and Pothos had so much of his father in him. There were times when she looked into the eyes of her only son and swore she saw Zephyrus looking back at her. At the same time, he was the god who saw fit to abandon her, and she was left trying to make do on her own with a son who asked questions and had to grow up before his due. Tending a broken-hearted mother who wept far more than a son should ever see. )
