Hair of the dog.
Wasn't that what they said, about hangover remedies? Hair of the dog? Not literally, obviously, because Dysnomia wasn't about to go and eat some unsuspecting canine (although she knew some deities that were into that sort of thing) but maybe there was something to that.
The problem was that, after many years of drinking and mingling with mortals and listening to their stories and more drinking, Dys still hadn't discovered the perfect hangover remedy. Which is why this morning (mid-afternoon, really, but Dys had only been awake long enough to shower and down a cup of coffee that was half as tall as she) found her in the grocery store, filling her cart with a variety of oddly-assorted foods. Most of them were brightly colored.
Stopping in the cereal aisle, she paused midway to reaching for a box of Lucky Charms. There was something - she could almost remember it -
"Shit," she muttered under her breath. "Um, Eris, Discordia, Goddess of - oh, fuck it, mom? I need some help."
