There was an arm. It was the first thought to truly permeate her consciousness as she began the slow, tumbling, hesitant process of leaning towards wakefulness. She wasn’t truly awake, nor was she asleep, but in a hazy state somewhere in between where everything was fuzzy, indistinct, soft and warm. Including the arm. It was wrapped around her waist, heavy but not oppressive, and it was very, very warm.
As was the rest of the body that was pressed against hers, she realized with a bit more cognizance. Growing more aware by the moment, Philotes recognized that she was lying against a naked person. The only way for her to know that was if she was naked herself, and able to feel that sensation of skin against skin. She stirred slightly, and the arm tightened, losing the feel of softness, becoming something firm and concrete to hold on to in her senses as she drew ever closer to waking. Her chest against one that was flat, hard. Her arm pinned between a bicep and a torso. Her inner thigh sliding silkily against an angular hip. ( Felt good. )

Word had reached Beauty's ear that an old...interest had returned. While "acquaintance" was far too light a word, "friend" was almost too strong. They'd had a special connection once, it was true, but she'd not seen him in far too long.
