I don't want any of this bullshit any more than you do. I want to figure something out, but I'm sorry, it isn't easy.

I'm sorry you don't understand, but I don't entirely understand, so I'd appreciate it if you would stop this crap now. You need to decide between being your cool, normal, supportive self or being your demanding, pushy, depressing self because I'm not sure if I want to continue being so close with you if you choose the latter.

I hope we can continue to be close, but I need you to trust me to take care of shit without you pushing me.
