I'm sorry I can't be who you want me to be. I'm sorry my grades aren't perfect enough for you. I'm sorry I don't always like what you make for dinner, but I can't control my taste buds. I'm sorry that I say things that you don't want to hear, but you know inside that they're true. I'm sorry I don't love you enough out loud. I'm sorry I don't love a lot of people enough out loud, but you deserve more than that. I'm sorry your job really sucks, but I honestly appreciate all the crap you go through to support this family, and no words could ever express how much it hurts me that you have to do so. I'm sorry you had it so bad growing up, I really am. Nobody should have to experience that kind of thing. I'm sorry my friends aren't always good enough for you, but that's my business, not yours. I'm sorry for what I did to your car, and I thank you for getting me my own.

I suppose I should just apologize for all my future insufficiencies right now, because I'm sure that no matter what happens to me in my life...there will always be a part of me that's not good enough...for you.
