Test Drive Meme

Welcome to Mirrored Nova!

THE BASICS
To hold everyone over until we officially open up the game, we are offering this lovely Meme, borrowed from many Dreamwidth RPs. This Test Drive Meme will allow everyone to play within the world we have devised. This will allow you to see how your character fits into the world, as well as to play things out to potentially grab up and iron out some plots. The following is basic information.

Helots: Slaves. Born, sold or sentenced.
Reigning: Dominants, alpha personalities.
Intermediates: Switches, beta types. Make up the bulk of society.
Acquiescent: Submissives. Nurturing types submissive in personality, but not pushovers necessarily.

Comment with the prompt # in your subject line. Reply to the Top Level Comment others post. Have fun! Feel free to give starter options for people to choose from if you wish. The commentor will then just need to specify in the subject line which of your starters they're choosing to reply to.
THE PROMPTS
  1. SUMMER SHOWER. You are out around Boston when suddenly you are caught in a rain shower. There is no lightening, and it's not a heavy downpour, but it is enough to be inconvenient and likely make you duck for cover. You will likely not be the only one doing so.
  2. BUS STOP. Boston is a big city, and like all big cities there is a metro bus route with fully electric and modern buses. Still, it doesn't change the fact you and others are stuck together waiting for the bus to arrive in the warm summer weather.
  3. COFFEE SHOP. Whether it be a hot or cold beverage, you're going to likely at some point stop somewhere for a drink. Like always, you're not the only one with such an urge.
  4. POKEMON GO! Advanced? Yes. But still one cannot escape the lure of Pokemon Go! As you're out hunting those elusive Pokemon and hitting Poke Stops or taking over Gyms, you are bound to run into others. It is, after all, the most popular phone-based game on the market right now.
  5. PARK. Feeling a bit restless? Needing exercise to stay healthy? Just needing some fresh air? Well then head to the park and socialize!
  6. STARGAZING. Nothing like being restless at night, right? So you go out wandering in hopes of making yourself sleepy. Hoping you don't get mugged along the way. Enjoy those stars.
  7. CLUBBING. We all feel the need to dance and socialize. Alright, so some of us do. Well? Get out there! Shake it and talk it up. Flirt and get downright naughty on the dance floor. Tease and tempt.
  8. SCHOOL. You're on campus and dealing with the school things. Signing up for upcoming classes, starting to worry about supplies, or finishing up summer classes.
  9. WILDCARD. Pick, choose, mix or create your own!

With classes for the fall semester starting up soon, Christine was anxious to get all her books and supplies. Organization was key to success academically, at least that's what she believed. While many students chose to order their books online, she much preferred to go to the campus bookstore and grab them all by hand. She had only just moved to town two weeks ago and was still trying to get to know the lay of the land. If she happened to make a few acquaintances along the way, there was certainly no harm in that.

Christine's arms were full of books, notebooks, and supplies as she turned the corner to head to the register. She hadn't been paying full attention and with her bad ear facing the direction she was going, she hadn't heard or seen anyone coming her way until it was too late. The next thing she knew, she was sprawled out on her butt and her books and supplies scattered about her. "Damn it." Shaking her head at herself, it was only as she got up onto her knees that saw who she had bumped into.

"I'm sorry... I usually am a little more diligent about knowing my surroundings and what not."
