Hi all - Figured I would post here since I've been hiatus for a bit. Still on home rest for another week-ish for now but get plot in order wouldn't be bad.

I just have two (for now) and both could use plots all around.

First is this journal, Rosa Vargas. She's a living vampire and daughter of Desi Vargas, also heir to the family and business. She's close to her aunt and uncles as well as her father; is rather outgoing and friendly though opinionated and not afraid to speak her mind either.

And then there is Maddox Foley. He's witch and older brother of Aran. He also owns Babylon Fire, a higher class brothel who welcomes all good patrons. He's very laid back but protective of family and close friends. He's not a vampire but tends to keep nighttime hours given his job so getting him in the morning is rare occurrence (unless you're Aran) LOL

But yes let me know, I'd love to work all the things out for both of them.

Hi everybody! I'm hoping to join the game with my character here and would love to get some more lines and connections with her before jumping in.

After plotting with Ashley over some aspects of her history, I'm proud to present to you all Zita Burrell Vargas (nee Laurent). She's an Acquiescent Nature Witch who specialises in healing and imbuing items with healing/soothing properties. Very polite and kind but repressed in a lot of ways due to a combination of manners and fear of looking silly/classless in the public eye or in anyone's eye, really.

She married into the Vargas family some time ago and is now a widow with a child to raise since her husband died while undertaking a mission for the family. She was devastated by these turn of events and has opted to become a resident healer for the Vargas family after they supported her through her loss, now healing injuries and wounds for their people so no one else would go through the experience of loss she felt. Zita also happens to own a tea boutique along with a friend of hers and is known to be a reluctant yet dutiful socialite in order to raise awareness of charities ranging from single mothers, widows, and children. She's been in Sol Nocte since her youth so there's a strong chance she ran into characters at some point in her life.

Hello! I find my interest piqued by this game, but before I go any further I thought I'd poke around here, as I'm undecided on a lot of things.

I'm considering bringing in this boy here, Dietre. As of yet, I'm not sure if he'd be supernatural, human, or gifted human, but I'm pretty sure I want him to be a helot. And if he is a helot, he'd be very recently sold into it.

Personality wise, Dietre is one of those silent, aloof, moody types. He grew up rather isolated (tutored at home) and is pretty socially awkward once someone dares to look past his cold expression and interacts with him. His family was very rich, high class, snooty etc, at least, his father is. I kind of have a vague idea of his history being that his mother was possibly a live in mistress, and while she was alive Dietre lived very well, but when she died, very recently, his father sold him as a helot. Because of this Dietre is QUITE bitter and rather rebellious, though his sort of rebellion is more icy glares and lifting his chin in haughty refusal of orders, lol. So if someone is interested in having their character be the one who just recently bought him, they'll need a firm hand with him probably, but Dietre isn't a fighter so slapping him around / the threat of violence is all he really needs to begrudgingly do what he's told. Just a note, Dietre is gay (though he comes off as sort of asexual, he's kind of a prude/sexually oblivious) so a male owner is preferred if y'know what I mean.

Other tidbits. He's German. Loves reading classic literature. Likes anything Victorian (antiques, clothing, houses etc.) And is obsessed, OBSESSED with playing the piano. Its his only true love at the moment, so if someone were to give him a job as a pianist or something like that, he'd actually be quite pleased.

Not sure if I'd prefer for him to be sold to shapeshifter types or vampires... One or the other!

So, uh... If anything about him strikes your fancy or gives you plot ideas, I'd love to work something out?

Hello everyone. It's Kia yet again and I swear I am going to stop apping characters eventually.

Anyway this is Lincoln. He had a rough childhood and all of his siblings ended up helots because his mother sold them to finance her lavish lifestyle. He's been hunting for them for years trying to buy them and free them. At the moment, he's really only capable of buying one of them and that bums him out. BUT He's nothing if not determined.

Ashley here. And I'm thinking of bringing in this girl, Evelyn Ashford. However, she is a special cookie. She is will be an Arcane Witch and suffers from a split personality. As a whole, she is Evelyn. But her personalities identify themselves as either Siren or Sprite.

Sprite comes off as curious, innocent and naive. Siren is a teasing, tempting vixen. Sprite doesn't have a good memory and forgets things, Siren never forgets anything. I'm toying with a spell going wrong being the cause of the personality split. Her previous bio is in this journal, and will give you a good idea of what she is like.

NOTE: She is going to be an Undead Vampire who was an Arcane Witch, and as a witch a spell backfired causing the personality split. Then after she was turned. She will have been in Sol Nocte a long while and is an eccentric immortal commonly found wandering around the city wearing elaborate dresses or... next to nothing depending on who is in control (Siren or Sprite). She even has a pintrest board.

Anyway, I wanted to see what plotting I could get for this man. Let's dive in, shall we?

Duncan Barton here is a Arcane Witch. He's also a Reigner. Duncan is a lawyer. He owns a law firm, Barton and Associates, and it's main focus is 2 pronged. One, it deals with legal disputes between Helots and Reigners. He knows the laws back and forth front side, back side, etc. He isn't typically a friend to Helots though, since he usually sides with Reigners. But he is fair, in his "suggestions"---though of course, Reigners don't have to listen to what he says about their property.

But, 4 times a year he takes pro-bono cases for Helots who want to leave their Reigners, and think they have grounds. The same ferocity and steeliness that makes him a great lawyer for Reigners, makes him a strong advocate for Helots. He's a passionate guy, who believes in order and justice, and also punishment for those who break the law/rules, no matter their side. He's big on respect, from fellow Reigners and from Helots.

A little oxymoronic. He has his own Helots. He's not a cruel master though, again, a fair, just, demanding, firm one.

ANYWAY, I'm looking for EVERYTHING for him. Helots would be AMAZING. Friends in fellow Reigners would be great to. He could be friends with strong minded Intermediates. Acquiescents, he'd be more likely to look down on, but the type of "look down with a smile and charm". He's a charming man, (a Slytherclaw if you must), and the type "You don't know he's insulting him until 10 seconds later".

He's also gay if anyone wants to dabble in that or any male Helots are looking for a kinky alpha. But he takes female Helots, obviously. A little biased? He treats women helots a little better.

This is Paige and my new baby Emilia! She is British and lovely and she likes tea. She just recently left the UK and her husband and sold herself into slavery in order to escape her abusive husband. Hey there guys. Ashley here. I'm going to be bringing in Bishop Adelson here. He will be one of Patrick Eddings' slaves. Bought when Patrick got into Law School, and Patrick's longest standing slave. Bishop is an Andaconda Shifter, so that's fun, right?

Bishop is calm, collected, kind and nurturing in nature. A good slave and very much content in his position within Patrick's household. He used to be free and was the oldest son of the Adelsons in Las Vegas, but sold when he refused to follow their wishes on his designation.

He needs connections! Bishop is allowed to forge his own connections so plus for that. He's pansexual and a kinky bastard, so he's wide open on that front.

Hellooo this is Kia and since I'm absolutely weak in the face of plot, I'm going to be bringing this guy in once I can get my brain together enough to write his personality. His name is Rafael Vargas. Yes, Desi's baby brother. Rafe is much more easy-going and likes having fun. He's kind of a hedonist, honestly, and also a bit of a nudist, since he's got no shame.

BUT the most important part about Rafe is that he runs an underground fighting circuit for Desi. Which is where the rest of you come in. Rafe doesn't turn anyone away, so literally anyone can fight. If you're a helot and think you can get away with sneaking down to the arena? Come on down, he'll pencil you in and remind you there are consequences if you lose and he's not going to be responsible for you if you're caught coming down.

I've got a pretty basic idea of how the arena will be ran. If there's enough interest, I'll sort out a schedule using a random number generator and if players cannot thread their fight, it'll be decided using a RNG, that way you can handle the consequences and fall out. This is basically fight club and if you're caught talking about it Rafe will kick your ass.

Otherwise, Rafe is down for just about anything. Friends, enemies, dating, casual flings, not-so-casual flings. Whaaatever. Just hit me up if you're interested.

Juuuust kidding... mostly.

I'm Jess and I currently have two kids in game. This lovely girl is Rosa Vargas. She is Desi's only child and heir to the Vargas family. She's 19 and the manager/hostess of the family flagship restaurant. She is very independent but has been privileged as well. She tends to speak her mind to the chagrin of others who know her lol She is also kind and friendly and a good friend to have. If she could keep her father and his reputation from scaring people off.

And my other kid is Maddox Foley. He is Aran's older brother, owns the brothel and is tends to give an air of not being serious at all. Without the label of being a hedonist, that's exactly what and who he is. He likes to have fun and enjoy people, but if you mess with his business or his brother, that's when you'll see the dark, powerful and mean side of Mads. Let's not do that okay? okay.

Shay needs friends, especially lady friends. Ex friends, old friends from Quincy, anyone really. I would love to see her sister around too. There's a few details about her in Shay's bio, but I tried to keep it really vague so you could do literally whatever with her. Her parents would be interesting (especially her dad).

Mads would benefit greatly from having members of his pack around. Not necessary for any of them to be shifters (but always a plus!). Business associates, contacts, enemies, anything else you can think of. I think I left room in his backstory for more half siblings.

Ronan needs his hippie bros. Romance? He's a really gr8 boyfriend I promise.

Patrick needs everything. Enemies, friends, exes? Whatever you got for him. He's the type to own helots and right now he's got two if that's something that interests you. Patrick's a hard ass tho, so please keep that in mind.

Anna here bringing in my final (I promise!) and she's a Helot. This is Maya Linton, she was sold off by her step brother shortly after her mother and step father died after being a victim of his sexual abuse for the majority of her childhood-teenage years. Having been purchased by a tattoo artist who used her as his personal canvas, she has quite a bit of ink. When her previous owner filed bankruptcy at the failings of his shop she was obtained by the state and has not been able to find a new owner since.

Currently she works at the halfway house to keep herself busy but few people have been interested in her. I'll be posting her in the Fallfest and get an open post up soon for interactions.

Hiiii all. Kia once more with my final character at least for now. I'm on my way home and should be there sometime this afternoon, so I figured what the heck lets see if I can drum up some lines before I get there. Anyway this is Ronan squared and he is a former helot from North Carolina. He fell in with a group of abolitionists who ended up stealing him from his owner and helping him get his freedom. After that he became a vocal abolitionist himself and protested around the country. Things took a rather dramatic turn when his group was (rightly) accused of burning down a halfway house in New York. Currently he's laying low in Boston since he's yet to be identified and waiting for any kind of news. Working as a cook at the merry men but moonlights as a a street violinist. I'm still ironing out his background and will have him finished up when I get home. But yes if you're looking for a bestie or a boyfriend who doesn't speak much unless he's ranting about helot rights then this is your guy.

The TL;DR: Ronan was sold by his parents; his mom was a freed slave who got a shitty ultimatum. So he lived with another owner preeeeetty much for his entire life from when he was three until a couple months ago - and he's twenty-four. Being sold kind of stung, so he came out of the whole thing a grouchier guy who's reluctant to let anyone too close but secretly wants it anyway. You know. Tropes.

Hey guys! It's Sarah and first and foremost, sorry for my long absence! Life has been kind of crazy lately, we're going on a four week camping trip through Italy in 10 days, so there was tons of planning for that and our little girl has her first birthday next weekend (plus seems to be getting a cold now too) so yeah...but I'm still alive and catching up annnnnnnd finally managed to vamp up this boy's profile so he fits in here :)

This is Nicky. He's an Acquiescent, freshman at Boston College's nursing program (and newly moved to Boston, too!) and heavily hearing impaired. He's not completely deaf, but enough to make it almost like he is. His father just cut him off completely, so he is also in desperate need of a job. He's a sweet kid, but painfully shy when he first meets people. He wears his heart on his sleeve, though, and forgives easily.

He's freshly apped and I'm looking for any and all kinds of lines for him! Friends, enemies (or bullies, rather, since he can't really hold a grudge anyways :P), a future employer? :)

Hi there. I'm Abigail and, after some wibbling, I'm relatively certain I'm going to be apping in this guy here. This is Adam Freeman. Independent Acquiescent and penniless anthropology researcher attached to [insert local university here]. Background at the moment is that he was born into slavery, but freed as a child with his mother. Though he pretends that he doesn't really remember, it's actually still a pretty big deal for him. He's had to put up with prejudice his whole life and is an abolitionist at heart, even if he doesn't really do anything about it beyond writing a lot of things that (largely) never see the light of day. (Online he may or may not supersecretly be a moderately well-known anti-slavery activist/agitator going by the handle of Cinadon.) His main research focus is the differences between regional Helot subcultures, though it tends to mostly get swept under the academic rug much to his undying chagrin. Most of his life is currently one long battle against the university overlords for more funding. At least enough to let him continue paying his rent would be ideal. He's thrilling like that.

In a nutshell: he's a mouthy, prickly, argumentative, commitment wary, self-loathing, would-be revolutionary who is overly fond of cheap wine and correcting your grammar. All plots wanted and welcome! Friends, onetime hookups, people who can't stand him, people who might know/be related to his former master (left deliberately sketchy other than being 'an important/famous person') gimme them all!

His name is a WIP but is effectively stricken from public record at any rate. Legally his name is Mads and he is the head of a orginized crime family based in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the second born son and essentially the Spare Heir. But Mads was never one to settle for second best and this led to his brother dying in a Mysterious Accident. Mads is very much a Southern Gentleman and loves fried chicken and sweet tea and calling people darlin' especially if it ticks them off. He's very cool and collected and isn't afraid of anyone or anything. Which has gotten him into more trouble than not.

Hello! I'm working on this girl and wanted to see if I could fill any lines before I wrap her up. Her face is Ana Beatriz Barros and she will be Reigning and Upper class. I have it in my head that her family is very well off and in real estate. She has followed that same path but I could definitely tweak her a bit to work with something else. I know she has siblings, it does not matter if they are older or younger and the family needs to have a living father(figure). She is roughly 28. Veronica is very dominant and manipulative when she needs to be. She has a habit, and addiction, of coming out on top.

Of course, other things I'd love to have for her besides family/siblings is: friends, enemies, exes, business associates, neighbors, former/current helots of her family, etc.

She already has a helot lined up but could consider another if the dynamics are right.

While i'm working on Desi I'm also going to be working on this girl here. Bethanie Scarlet. She's going to be a bar tender and manager of her uncle's as of yet unnamed bar. Originally from Detroit, she's been living with her uncle since she was 16 after things happened back home that had signing guardianship to her uncle and getting her out of the city was a good idea.

Bethanie is an Intermediate. Edgy, metalhead, and a generally effed up young woman in a lot of regard yet surprisingly functional. She'll have some issues, but that makes it fun.

Hey guys! I'm super excited to join in on the fun here, but I definitely need a little bit of help and feedback! I'd like to bring in this dude right here, one Icarus Bardshawe ("but please just call me Car"), an older Helot that has the worst luck with Masters and can't seem to stay with one longer than a few months. He was sent to a halfway house at the age of twenty-two and he's been in and out for ages, he's gotten to that point in his life where he's just really given up on ever leaving. He's the Mommy of the particular house that he's in, a total mama bear that likes to fuss over the other younger Helots running around! He's honestly very sweet, a total softie, but life's given him some rough edges and a distinct air of "eh, fuck it" about most things in life.

My only baby here at the moment is Will, my tiny giant darling. He was born deaf, learned how to read lips and speak in school, but isn't talking right now. First is Maddox Foley. His brother is here too (That's Aran). He's the oldest of five, and has a twin sister named Maeve. He and Aran are close and Mads always looks out for him. He has a colorful past, and is a novelist but under a pen name. His real money comes in the fact that he owns the high end, classy brothel in Boston. It's called Babylon Fire. Everyone knows about it, it's rarely talked about in public unless someone has the smart idea to try and take over or raid it. And Maddox says he has a dungeon for people like that. Everyone is welcome as long as you can pay, with a few exceptions of course.

And the second I'm bringing in is Rosa Vargas. She is Desi's daughter, a Mafia princess, heir to the family. She was raised without her mom and is closer to aunts and uncles, but really her dad is her world. She isn't entirely spoiled and does look for the good in people but she can't help how she was raised, including high family loyalty, and a long memory when it comes to vendetta and being crossed. She currently works at the family restaurant. Rosa is haughty and opinionated but very smart and deceptive in that people look at her and don't see trouble or danger. :)

And this is Desiderio Vargas. I (Ashley) will be bringing him in to control the Boston Underground. He is the Boss of the Vargas Family, a Spanish Mafia in our made up world. He is a Boss of all Boss's type. Essentially he is the big guy in town. Nothing happens without his approval.

He is 36 and took over when his father retired and his father and mother returned to Madrid, Spain. He is a widower with an 18-year-old daughter, he was a teen father. Desi married his daughter's, Rosa, mother. She took off when Rosa as 2 and became a druggie and a prostitute. She was suffocated by the life she got forced into and ran away, abandoning them. Desi... hated her, but he stayed loyal to his vows... up until he was called in to identify her body all the way over in California. Then he was back to being a playboy. There was... no mourning from him.

He's been free of Consuela for a year now.
