Evan snorted his way slightly into a subtle laugh as she spoke, shaking his head in comfortable disbelief and amusement. “As much as I’d adore to see you with more of an edge, I must admit that the idea of you as dark and dangerous is comical.” And a bit endearing, though he couldn’t admit that. Elizabeth certainly wonders on his usually harsh personality, something he wasn’t quite sure was a good thing. Her comment caused an eyebrow to arch and that typical smirk to enter his expression. “I’m certainly told so. I’m apparently quite the arrogant prat,” he responded.
That blush was lovely and he couldn’t help the very faint softening of his expression at the sight of it.
