I'm finally putting this character together and I cannot wait to find a writing partner! I've got half the plot figured out and need some help with the other half. Be my other half?
My character would be a time-traveler who gets stuck in the 17th century (yes, that sounds like Outlander but I've had the idea before the series came out and I haven't seen the show, though I do plan on it since I have heard a lot of great things about it). In order to fit in and in her attempt to try and get back to her time, my character pretends to be a boy and has to sign up for the royal guard. I would love to have her eventually be bodyguard to the king and play out that relationship.
I love conflict. I like it when the characters grow and change. Yes, I love my characters and I like to toss them in pretty crappy situations. Give me all the complicated plots. The whole boy-is-attracted-to-other-boy-who-is-secretly-a-girl, yes. Gimme. Add politics. We can make stuff up. Bring on extra characters. Let's have fun and make this a world of our own.
