I come bearing an offer: Tell me who you need for your HP PSL or group and I will play him/her/it.
I'm serious. I feel like I've gotten stagnant over the past couple of months and what better way to cure that than to create a muse out of whole cloth? So yes. Bring me the muses that are chomping at the bit, just desperate to get out, the character concepts that you think are too weird for an actual game, the characters you think might be Mary Sues but are probably very interesting I can tell you. Then, tell me - which canon or what kind of OC have you always dreamed of playing them up against? I will try my hand at playing that character for you.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm on EST and I've got five years of RPing under my belt. I love giving my characters interesting backstory, fleshing out their motivations, and trying to make any idea feasible. I also love interesting plots and building relationships between characters. I value anything interesting, and the generic bores me to death. Though I'm preferential to slash, I will consider het or femme (though I've never done femme, admittedly). My comfort zone lies in guys of about 25-45, but I would be completely open to playing a woman. My era preference is MWPP, but so long as I'm offering myself up to play anyone I'll go for any era, from Founders to Next-gen. I tend to stick with more minor characters who I can flesh out, but if we come up with a good enough plot I'll even play Harry if you need him.

WANTED APPLICATION
Particularly wanted: burlesque dancers, cooks/bakers, food servers, ticket takers, ride operators, game booth operators, barkers (we need one for the haunted house and for the burlesque tent!), trick shooter, trapeze artists, buskers, merchants of all kinds, artists/artisans, shills, janitors and makeup artists. We are also looking for some administrative personnel who would work closely with the carnival staff.
Open to all relationships, backgrounds, etc. All human PB choices are acceptable if they fit your character's description. This is a supernatural all-original game, thread and AIM friendly, very active for nearly 8 months now.

Forgotten Gods follows the deities of ancient mythologies, brought to America long ago by explorers or immigrants from their homelands and eventually abandoned or lost from memory. As their worshippers have moved on to new religions, the gods' powers have waned -- for a god, at its most pure essence, is no more than an idea, and an idea is worthless if there is nobody to believe in it. Some have passed, forgotten, from the world, while others have fallen into madness. Some have simply tried to adapt, to make a life for themselves in this place without gods, getting by on what little scraps of worship and belief they can garner. Others are more radical, intent on regaining the power that was once theirs and reviving their followings.
And then there are the New Gods. Gods of cars and computers, television and radio, cities and highways, all those things that modern Americans put their faith in. They are young, at the height of their power. These newcomers are regarded dismissively by some of the old ones, who have seen so many new deities rise and fall in their time; jealously by others, who wish to reclaim the power for their own; and by all with a deep, abiding wariness.
Inspired by the world of Neil Gaiman's American Gods, this game invites players to step into the roles of deities, old and new, to create their own modern mythology. |

Bonnie & Clyde?
|  | Looking for a modern Bonnie and Clyde of sorts. She's a budding little sociopath, hiding it behind a good-girl demeanor. He's the full-fledged real thing, making a nice, clean living off of hired hits. Unlike the police, she figures out his illegal weakness: young, pretty girls. Since she fits his 'type', she decides that she's safe from his more violent tendencies and puts together a plan to manipulate him into taking her with him. In her mind, as long as he's under her thumb, she's got her own attack dog. Unfortunately for her, he agrees and manipulating him isn't nearly as easy or safe as she thought it would be.
