WELCOME TO GODS OF THE ARENA!This game is a modern day take of the show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. All characters are original, though they may have similarities to those of the show. An added twist to the game is that a majority of the characters have supernatural abilities. The Gladiators and Slaves are either fully human or half breeds, while the higher up families, like their Masters, are of Purebred Demons. This is a small group PSL, though there is no limit as to how many players can join, and the number of characters per player is open! I ask that you be reasonable when adding additional characters. If you already play a female slave, your next character should be male. This will help keep an even balance in the game. June 2006 - catastrophe strikes. The world's been quiet for so long - Voldemort is gone and gone for good. Life was moving on, people settling down and having families. Then one day - a dozen people fall ill. A week later over three hundred are sick and the first dozen are dying. Six months later a large chunk of both wizarding and muggle populations are dead, the few that survive in London and Scotland are banding together.
A healer discovers the cure - unicorn blood, basilisk venom and some other mundane items - but she can't bring herself to kill any more unicorns than necessary. Soon after she creates the antidote, she kills herself in shame and the Ministry, the surviving members anyways, ban the slaughter of the unicorn. Unicorns - who can bring themselves to kill one? Especially now that the Ministry has banned it. Not even the coldest hearted Death Eater could take the life of such an innocent creature.
People are asked to gather at Hogwarts and in Hogsmeade where wards are set up to protect people from the Virus. People don't like it, but the few who try to leave - fall ill and with only a tiny store of antidote left - they die. The threat is real. The Virus is outside the gates of the Town and people are asked to find a mate, and try to salvage life. Are there other surivors somewhere in the vast world, or are the 46 left it? Is there a permanent cure for this virus or do you have to kill a Unicorn to survive? Or will the children of the surivors be born with immunity? Only time will tell - and now it's in your hands.
Welcome to Nocte Silenti - we enter the world in February of 2007,
when the Marriage Decree has been sent out.

It has been a year since seal number thirty was destroyed. Since then, dozens of people from different universes - good and evil alike - have poured through the cracks in the universe that the seal created, dropping straight into the world that the demon, Lilith, so eagerly sought to destroy. Those brought through the seal proved to be nothing short of a challenge for Lilith, but with a clever plan already set into motion, Lilith managed to trick one of the Winchester brothers into breaking the final seal. In doing so, Lilith was killed - Lucifer, however, was freed from his cage for the first time in thousands of years. With nothing more than vengeance set in his heart against God and all of humanity, Lucifer began to work. War will no longer be coming. With Lucifer up top and his apocalypse well on the way, it is finally here.

|  | LXH (League of Extraordinary Heroes) is a pulp-based, multi-genre RPG. Set in modern times, in fictional Avalon City, it features good, bad, and that hazy grey area in dealing with superheroes, supervillains, mystics, demons, enhanced humans, vampires, assassins, werewolves, mutants, and everything in between. If you can think it up, it probably lives here in Avalon. We're looking for recruits with an eye for the unusual, and a rich style of character creation. Turmoil will constantly be on the horizon, as the mods aim to throw a wrench into the works every now again, for good guys and bad guys alike. Evil NPC elements will pop up from time to time, as well as squeaky clean heroes. Keep an eye out for advertisements in the Avalon Herald for wanted "guns for hire", or seek out the leaders of various factions within the city yourself. Feel free to start a personality from scratch, or take an existing character from your favourite canon and re-work them into an original character.
