It was something my mother said to me when my father went under the knife for heart surgery and passed away.

I remember listening to all those religious reich nutjobs who made outrageous claims that the power of prayer would heal people and believe in it.

Well looks like someone finally said let's put this to a test and look at it scientifically and the results are under the cut.

This will most likely be the new hot button topic for Pat Robertson and the rest of the Religious Reich to go all splody head over.

 I'm amazed that CNN actual had this information available and not buried in the archives somewhere.  I could not get it to link so I figured to cut and paste this before the it disappears off the interweb.
