There was a recent post in gsa_lj about abstinence education, and how it's not working. Why are fundamentalists pushing for this so hard? They're just shooting themselves in the foot. If more people practiced safe-sex, there would be less unwanted pregnancies, thus less abortions. It's so obviously not working; why are they still pushing this and pretending like it is or ever will?
