Return from Hiatus/Scotty-Harris things that are relevant to the Dalton population
Firstly,
HI, HEY, HELLO, I'VE REALLY MISSED YOU :(
I'm more or less back now, though. I have another exam on the 23rd, my summer school starts on May 7th, and I'm looking for a job, but idgaf. I'm not staying away any longer, it's just torture ;_;
If we discussed any threads or plots back in that big plotting post, or if I owe you tags, or if you just want to do new plotting, hit me up, y/y? :D <3

Secondly, following this thread, and these discussions (the Harris/Scotty and Harris/Gabe ones, mainly), it was decided that Harris was finally going to follow through on his threats of harming Scotty's old foster family...
So, tomorrow (Saturday) night, he'll be stealing away to Cairo and setting their house on fire. Unfortunately, they managed to get out relatively unscathed, but the house is pretty much beyond salvation. They, having the opinion of Scotty that they do, wind up pointing their fingers at him, so he'll be taken in late on Sunday afternoon for questioning. He obviously wouldn't be taken out in handcuffs or anything, as he isn't being arrested, but I'm sure people would still notice the police presence and Scotty leaving with them.
He'd be back at Dalton later on that evening, of course, because he has nothing to do with it and it's pretty obvious xD; But the foster parents keep pushing, and eventually the police widen their scope to start looking at his friends. Harris' name comes up, and with his record... well, yeah, they'll be looking at him. On Monday afternoon, I'm thinking near the tail-end of fifth period (which he has with Blake and Sam), a few officers will turn up to pull him from class and take him to the station for questioning. He denies everything, they either believe him or don't have the evidence to keep him. Scotty finds out that they're looking at Harris, so when they bring Scotty in again on Tuesday evening, being the poor misguided soul he is, he confesses to protect Harris. He gets held overnight until someone can come pay his bail in the morning. Harris finds out that Scotty basically threw himself under the bus for him, and goes to the station on Wednesday to talk to the officers and ends up confessing (Spider, I think this is about when he'll use his phonecall to tell Bas he needs a lawyer). They'd question him for a while, and then bring Scotty back in to question him separately (and sorry, Mr. Smythe's wallet, but the lawyer is giving Scotty counsel, too).
But don't worry, they get off~ The lawyer counsels them both to retract their guilty pleas and essentially believes (or claims to, anyway), that they're both just a couple scared kids trying to protect one another. They'd both be allowed to leave, but I think there'd be a few days of talks between their lawyer and the foster parents' (...do they have a last name? srsly) lawyer. We're also thinking the abuse comes up, and the foster couple is advised to drop their charges and that an abuse investigation might be launched. The latter may happen pretty behind the scenes, a lot like Addison's legal drama, but if a few people are willing to say that they gave statements to the police regarding their knowledge of what Scotty went through, that'd be excellent. We figured it probably won't go to trail, as they'll be advised to plead guilty and it'll just be a minor court session.
/this is probably so full of inaccuracies of the legal system (you'd never guess it's what I'm studying >.>), but idgaf.
xoox Kitty
ETA: Would someone be willing to go in on Wednesday morning to post Scotty's bail? It's not going to be anything ridiculous, but still.
