So they'd been kidnapped to a weird haunted hotel. Diego wasn't thrilled about that, but he'd tried every which way to get out and nothing had worked. He'd finally resigned himself to being stuck, along with his siblings and a bunch of other people. A lot of them seemed to be fighting types, which...honestly didn't bode well. Like he wouldn't be surprised if there was a need for fighters, and they'd all been recruited for some war they had no real stake in.

Even without that thought rolling around in his head, he would have kept up his work out and training regime. There was a fairly decent gym on the main floor of the hotel, and Diego was a regular patron of that gym. It wasn't quite what he was used to, there was more equipment and not so much space for boxing, but it was still fairly decent. There was plenty to do, to keep himself in shape.

He'd just finished a session and was headed out, sweaty and hungry, when he ran into his brother. Not so much ran into him as saw him and jogged over to where he was. "Hey, Klaus," he said.

"I went out," Diego said. Of course he had. "It's...not pleasant out there," he said. "I killed a few things, made me feel better." He didn't care for the outfit he'd found himself in. he'd gone in and out of the hotel multiple times, and the outfit was not something he would ever choose any time.

The weapons he'd had were pretty cool though. And he had let off some frustration with the killing. "You don't need to be going out there." Klaus coud hold his own in combat, Diego didn't doubt that. But he didn't think Klaus needed to risk triggering her PTSD.

A huge grin spread across Klaus' face. "What outfit did you get when you went out there?" He wished he could have seen it. But he'll go for a mental image right now.

Once he drenched his waffle in syrup, he took a small bite of it. It...actually wasn't bad. Who knew Diego could make eatable waffles? "I already went out there," he said with a wave of his hand as if it had been nothing. "I didn't stay out there, though." He had only explored for a handful of minutes before he went right back to the hotel.

	"You felt like a cat?" Klaus asked, eyebrow raised at that statement. "How did you feel like a cat?" He was definitely curious to know how this worked. "Not literally, Klaus." Diego said. "Just. It was ridiculous. The outfit. But at least it was black." Which everyone who knew Diego knew black was his favorite color. He'd wear white tshirts from time to time, but most of his wardrobe was entirely black.

"You're probably not wrong. That's definitely what it seems like out there," Diego bit into his own waffle. "The whole thing is just fucked up."
