Admittedly, Din had never been into holidays. But he was starting to change his mind on that opinion. The Mandalorians weren't huge on celebrating in general so it wasn't really in Din's nature to honor a certain day without a good reason. However, these Earth holidays really weren't so bad. Halloween was weird, but the Day of the Dead held huge significance for Din. Remembering loved ones who had passed away was important, but celebrating that which you had during your time while alive was imperative, too. A lesson Din was keen on teaching to young Bobby. Speaking of the kid, he was currently waddling around in the fallen leaves just outside the hotel's entrance, enjoying the sound of crunching beneath his tiny feet. Din himself would be wearing his usual odd combination of Mandalorian mask and hotel-given clothes, standing near Bobby but not hovering too close; just near enough to keep an eye on him. As requested, Mando had brought a plastic bag from the kitchen to put pinecones in. Not that he was entirely sure what that entailed. To be clear, Din knew what a pinecone was. He just wasn't sure which ones were decoration-worthy. But that was where Ava came in.. |
