Who: Harry, Draco, James, Sirius
What: Drugging Draco
When: May 1989
Where: Sirius' house.
Why: They need a memory Draco has but is reluctant to give up.
Harry was a wreck. Using a truth potion on someone was a terrible thing to do, especially when the victim doesn't know it's going to happen. He was nervous and anxious and excited and worried and scared. Of course he wanted out of the mirror, ten years was quite enough, but there were so many variables with the outcome, which was what kept him from pursuing this any harder for the past decade. But now, in his proper time, the Death Eaters had his father and were using him in their hideous scheme to create a future army for Voldemort.
Best case scenario, he got out of the mirror in one piece, and continued the time-travel. Worst case, he died in the attempt. At least he assumed that would be the worst case scenario, sometimes he mind wanted to explore some type of half in/half out of the mirror or the time travel changing to some time that wasn't were he was now, but he did his best to squash those thoughts before they flowered too much.
But he was certain that if he was going to get out, now was the time to do it.
The plan was to meet up with Draco and bring him back to Sirius' house where they could give him the veritaserum, and, hopefully, extract the spell that Voldemort used to put him in to the mirror, that they could then reverse engineer to get him out. Draco wasn't going to be happy when it was over, so this was their one shot.
Harry felt like he was going to be sick.
Leaving little Harry in Dorcas' capable hands, Harry and James apparated to Diagon Alley and waited outside the Leaky Cauldron entrance for Sirius, before they went in for Draco.
"Are we early?" Harry asked anxiously after waiting only a few moments, but what for him felt like much more.
