I know that I spent Christmas on the island, and yet suddenly I feel as though I spent it in Poplar as well- there was an unexploded bomb and we were all evacuated- there was a Polio outbreak and- oh. Nonnatus house is no more. Gosh. It all worked out in the end, but- it was the strangest thing. It feels like a memory more than a dream.

Now, I know that we have quite the increasing number of children on the island here, and I was thinking that it might be really good fun if we had a little check that all of your immunisations are up to date. They'll stop you from getting terribly sick, and if you're awfully good, you'll get a delicious sweet.

Parents- It would be greatly appreciated if you would being your child along, or any children in your care, so that we can see about getting their vaccinations up to date, and creating a proper record for their health. Contact me for an appointment, or simply show up to an open clinic

I'll be holding an open clinic every Monday and Wednesday, 9.00-12.00, (and in the afternoon, if required, or by appointment. I will see how this plays out, and cut or increase hours as necessary.)This is primarily for obstetrics and paediatric care, but I will be happy to see anyone about a problem they don't want to bother a doctor with and I will pass you on to them if necessary.

Also, please remember that you can call upon me 24/7 for any concerns regarding a pregnancy, or the health of your child.

Indeed, I really don't want you as an enemy, dear - which is why I'm trying to combat Maryanne's utter LIES about me....! I mean, honest: if only SOMEONE had recorded the transmission - perhaps Bond himself did in fact - is Bond still here, even? But anyway's, all I did was tell him to lay off the capital punishment talk, because I wouldn't allow any such thing to occur on the Island whilst I had any power to stop it....!

Alright, I get that. But you have to understand how things go when you're from the South. Those of us, like Maryanne and myself, are very attached to the people we love. VERY attached. So when you say something, even a generalization like that, we take it as a personal threat against those that we care about. And we do not take kindly to threats like that.

We're all different here. From different places and different times. Maryanne and I are strong Southern women that do not take kindly to people butting into our conversations. We don't like it when you give a threat, general or otherwise, to the people we love, and we don't tolerate those that hurt the people we care about.

With all of that in mind, do you now understand, at least a little bit, why Maryanne does not like you even remotely? And why she never, ever, ever in a million years ever will?

Indeed, I can definitely understand that....! I mean, honest: I never meant to start such a bloody War with her just by telling Sean that I wouldn't tolerate him killing Bond in some vigilante fit... Even if he did kill someone else himself - someone who is apparently still alive, and in our midst, anyway's...! I mean, I do get the protectiveness; I'm equally protective of mine own loved ones, after the war I'd been through... Back home, you know? I mean, I suppose you do know - after all, Harry Potter is a pretty famous franchise by the time you're around, right? Anyway's, I really did NOT mean to start such a war with her, and if she'll just let it alone, now that I'm not taking anything away from her - not her meat, nor her family - I'll be perfectly content to avoid her presence on this bloody Island and its bloody network altogether!

Just don't talk about her family. That'll solve the whole problem right there. Her family or her loved ones. Just leave the people she cares about alone and she'll back off. It's that simple. And yes, I know she has a lot of loved ones and a lot of people care about her. So it'll be hard to associate with people. But I'm sure you can find someone. I am in no way telling you that you need to stick to your husband and your stepson and your creepy ass brother. Yes, he is seriously creepy. I'm sorry if that offends you. Just try to avoid the people that you know for a fact are in Maryanne's net of family. Okay?

	Indeed, I can decidedly do that - and really now, I take no offence at the remark about my brother; to most, he is creepy, for serious.... ~~Even to me, sometimes....!~~ Anyway's, I shall avoid anyone associated with Maryanne, save of course, for this nurse, because I am hoping to keep Bumby healthy through her! I tried. I really did. I wanted to get all of this sorted so that the two of you would leave each other alone. But you've gone and done it. You went one step too far.

Please don't bother replying to this because I am not going to answer you. Probably won't even read it. But I want you to understand that you are completely on your own. I'm not going to get in Maryanne's way. I'm not going to try to stop her anymore. Because even though I know she loves me like a sister, I know she won't hesitate to mow me down to get to you.

I just want you to understand that you did this to yourself.
