I've never taken one in my life, but I still know how it affects the human body. It's basic science after all. Yes, well, that's a different kettle of fish altogether. But generally opiates tend to produce highs, there are narcotics that make you drowsy though. No, I don't know what you mean.

And don't call me 'sir'. Or 'Doctor'.

Well, sorry, Doctor- what do you want me to call you, then? I mean, I Could always go back to the whole "Teddy" thing, but you didn't seem to like that much before....! Heh...

Anyway's, sorry, Doctor, but... I didn't exactly get a good background on the sciences at Hogwarts... I mean, honestly, I think my brother was much smarter than me on that front, and only because he conducted - independent research!

'Teddy'? What the bloody hell are you going on about? I've not even spoken to you before. But I would definitely not like to be called that.

Wait a minute... did you say Hogwarts? As in Harry Potter?

But... I'm pretty sure I have talked to you, sir... I mean, here on this network before, and of course, the one time in New York City, as well: when we were on the same search-and-rescue team... Unless, of course you have an identical twin wandering around here somewhere....!

And... yes as in Harry Potter... Though of course Harry himself was just a wee babe when I got pulled to this bloody Island, so.... Yeah, I had to read the books to learn what ostensibly happened, like everyone else here! Hah...

Nope. Not me. This is the first time. And don't call me sir.
Well... not exactly a twin.

Right. So you're from the Wizarding World huh?

Yes, yes, I am, in fact.... sir! Sorry, but. You haven't given me anything to call you....! Hah! I mean, what's your name?

Anyway's, well.... yes, I am from the wizarding world, in fact, but you don't need to worry about me because I was an Auror, not a Death Eater.... Unless, of course, you're one of those lunatics who sympathised actual with the Death Eaters.... Then, we might have problems, Sir.

It's Dr. John Smith. Never ever sir.

Why would I need to worry about you anyway? One, I'm not a wizard. Two, I'm not from your world. And C. I'm not a lunatic. Mostly.

Indeed, but still - A) Well, the Death Eaters had it out for Muggles, as well -so really if I was in sympathy with those bloody nutters, you'd all be in trouble...! Hah! B) As for the second point, well... I think the fact that there's something keeping us all here, on this island, makes us all of the same "world" for now, at least! And C) Mostly, eh? I mean....I suppose I could say that myself, but... I dunno how true it would be, considering I'm seeing a -- psycho-atryst... No, that's not the right term, is it? A Psych-I-atryst, here! Hahah!

and alright, then....! It's very nice to meet you, so to speak, on this little computer thingy, at least, Dr John Smith! :-)

Bah! Death Eaters don't scare me. And I'm not a Muggle either so...
Perhaps.

A psych... You mean a psychiatrist? Oh, I wouldn't see one of those. They mess with your head. Question every little thing you do. Nah, not a fan of them.

You're not a Muggle? What on G-d's green earth are you, then, if not a wizard?

Anyway's, I've actually found Dr Lecter to be most helpful, rather.... He hasn't put any ideas into my head, at all, that I can tell at least!

Ohhh, not always on 'God's green earth', not that it's his earth.. whoever he is.

Dr Lecter? Well, have fun with that.

Indeed? I mean - you're not from Earth? And as for the question of G-d, well... I'd like to believe He's true, though... evidence to date in mine own life has been-- somewhat lacking, rather....!

It's not so much fun to relive my worst memories, no, but -- I DO think it's bloody necessary, to avoid reliving them in my nightmares, you know what I mean....?

Technically, yep, not from Earth.

In my experience most 'gods' are just higher technologically advanced species, either mistakenly thrust into that role or who exploit it.

I was being sarcastic. And there's no guarantee it'll work anyway.

Indeed? So... you don't believe Jesus was a wizard, either, I suppose? I mean, I half think my brother must have believed that, to actually Worship HIM! Along with his precious bloody Dark Lord, also too....!

Oh yes, I knew that was sarcasm; I was just answering you in earnest, in an ironic sort of response.... Sorry, Dr Smith.... Sir.... HAH

Nope. I don't put much stock in things like that. When you've been treated and worshipped as a god yourself, it all gets a bit silly really. Well, not me, him but I still have the memories so... Moving on.

Never sir.

him!? Him who exactly?

Oh wait: your "twin" the Doctor, Dr Smith...?

I mean, of course not, sir! Hah...! I'm so sorry; it's a bad habit of mine own! Would you prefer I reverted to my childhood habit of calling everyone male "monsieur" instead?

Not twin. It's more complicated than that. But yes, him, the Doctor.

No. Because it's just sir in another language. Dr. Smith will do just fine.

Alright then, Dr Smith! Or maybe just Doctor if the other bloke isn't a part of the conversation, like now for example! Hah... Sorry...

Anyway's, tell me about this complicated thing that's made you twins-but-not.... Please? I mean, I've heard the spiel already about how and why you're both wearing my old friend Teddy Tonks's face.... From the Doctor, you know...?

Dr Smith will do just fine. No matter the situation, or the company.

Ohh, I'm not really sure you'd understand. It's not all that comprehensible to those that were there at the time.
