My spouse and I are putting together a trip to Egypt, starting in Cairo/Giza and taking the train down to Luxor to visit Thebes and the Valley of the Kings. The plan would be to stay on a houseboat there and sail back down to Cairo when we're finished, would this be something you'd be interested in?

Then he'll be a good companion for Jacob then, it could be the start of a lifelong friendship for the boys. Or they'll find out they're completely unsuited I suppose, but hopefully the former.

Six months ago I would have found that a very odd question to ask, but it's treating me as well as can be expected at this point. I'm bloody enormous and it's about impossible to stay comfortable, but the children are healthy and that's all one can ask.

Another month or so to go, which is why I'm anxious to go now and take the trip while I still can. Two weeks from now and it will be far too close to start anything like what we're thinking of.
