Interesting fact! Tell me something interesting that I don't already know.

Except Lothíriel. She's utter crap at interesting fact.

The world Belle and I come from allows for the use of magic. A practitioner such as myself can extract the heart from a person, and use the magic they have control of to keep the heart beating, or use it to control the person they took it from.

So magical malfeasance. Interesting. The Arcanum forbids it.

I'm not sure what the "Arcanum" is, but... I should bloody well hope so! I mean, that's bloody sick, that is...!

From a medical and scientific standpoint it's fascinating.

fascinating?! Really?

Are you some sort of -- mad scientist, like the people in the Department of Mysteries?

Mad scientist? No. I leave that to those better suited for it. What is the Department of Mysteries?

Ah, I see...! An "interesting fact" you DON'T already know! Ha!

Anyway's, the Department of Mysteries is a -- well, a department, obviously, in the bowels of the Ministry of Magic, full of strange people who all seem to be secretive little buggers to an INSANE degree...! I mean, for serious, they don't TALK about their work, not even to their own FAMILIES...! IT's all so bloody secret - hence, the Department of Mysteries...! Ostensibly they study all sorts of magic, down there, that some people just couldn't handle even KNOWING about... but I half suspect that they have a pizza party every Friday, and ride unicorns every Tuesday...! Heh!

You have a Ministry of Magic? What does it do?

Well... mostly it just keeps Magic out of the Hands (and Eyes) of Muggles-- you know, non-magic folk...? I mean, I'm an Auror for the Ministry, which means I work against Dark Wizards, most of whom seem to be trying to enslave Muggles, or even just wipe them off the map! Bastards...! And we JUST got done taken down a Dark Lord -- Number 9430, if I've got a good memory, and I know my memory is still good, even after... well...

Anyway's, I say WE, when who I REALLY mean is a flock of civilians, who the Dark Lord in question was attempting to recruit, to his cause.... until he turned on them, and tried to you know, kill them instead! Fun times., really....!

Oh, that is interesting. A sanctioned body of practitioners governing itself. Are you beholden to laws of the church?

Church? As in, the Catholic Church?

But no, no... I mean, my brother was a devout sort albeit to the wrong damned PERSON in the end! but... well, we just govern ourselves based on - well, common sense...! Don't kill people, don't hurt them, don't steal from them... Et cetera, et cetera...!

Ewwww! That sounds a little too much like the story "The Warlock's Hairy Heart" for my taste...!

That depends, sir, if you're the "Dark One" then... why YES, I AM ewwing at you...! I mean, that's just... disgusting, really!

But still -- the lesson of the Story "The Warlock's Hairy Heart" is that it's bloody well dangerous to lock your heart away - or, in your case, someone else's, I suppose.... ANYWAY'S, I think the POINT of the story was to tell us NOT to mess with such things... magic that messes with our very HEARTS and SOULS...!

I haven't ever even heard of that story and I was simply offering a fact, not looking to be judged by a mouthy little girl

Mouthy little girl!? Honestly, sir, I'm all of 23 years old now...! And it's a common story in my world, and thus, I was just offering my opinion on your "fact"; you were the one who questioned my right to have an opinion on your information...!
